Because she isn’t legally female, a paedophile who now identify herself as a woman and was imprisoned for group sex with an Alsatian, has been transferred to a men’s prison.

Claire Goodier (previously known as John) was sentenced to 20 months yesterday. He was convicted in the past of child abuse images.

Goodier, 60 years old, identified herself as a female for at least 2 years. She was also referred to during the Chester Crown Court case as Claire and as “she”.

But MailOnline has learnt the defendant – twice convicted of possessing indecent images of children in 2006 and 2009 – has been sent to HMP Altcourse.

It’s a private Category B prison for men and Young Offender Institution located in Liverpool.

MailOnline was told by a source that prisoners go to the prison where they are legally recognized as their gender.

“This defendant is currently in HMP Altcourse, a male prison.”

This is the jail where Benjamin Mendy, Man City’s star singer is being held remand in preparation for his multi-rape trial next January.

Goodier was listed in court under a male identity, but a note that Claire would be addressed at the hearing added Claire to his name. A Sexual Harm Prevention Order issued is under that female identity.

Gender Recognition Act 2004 permits people to alter their legal sex. They can also obtain Gender Recognition certificates proving that they have done so. These are valid for use in prison.

Claire Goodier, 60, has been sent to prison for 20 months for the depravity with the dog

Claire Goodier (66) has been taken to prison 20 months after being convicted of the act of depravity in relation to the dog

Goodier - who was previously known as John - has a string of offences under previous name

John Goodier, who used to be known as John Goodier, has been convicted of a number of crimes.

HMP Altcourse in Liverpool where Goodier has been sent to serve the 20-month sentence

HMP Altcourse, Liverpool. Goodier was sent there to complete the 20-month sentence.

Judge Steven Everett yesterday called Goodier’s act of participating in the dog-act with other adults ‘despicable, disgusting and depraved’. He sentenced Goodier for twenty months.

After receiving suspended sentences, he said that the defendant had been “astonishingly luck” to escape previous stints behind bars.

Paulinus Barnes was the Chester Crown Court prosecutor on Wednesday, December 22. He stated that the police called Goodier’s house on July 19, 2019 to perform a routine inspection due to Goodier being listed on the sex offender register for life.

The laptop contained evidence that Goodier searched the internet looking for bestiality material. Officers confiscated the device and completed a thorough analysis two years later. Hidden folders included 31 images showing an Alsatian dog having sex with Goodier.

Barnes stated that she had taken the photographs.

“She stated that she was a fan of it for many years, and then after discussing it with Northwich people, was connected with other Bournemouthers.

The pervert was listed as John but note asked for her to be called Claire in the court hearing

While the pervert was named John in her court filing, it was requested by Claire that she be called Claire.

‘She travelled down there in December 2018 and took part in the sex act with other people and the Alsatian dog.’

Police also discovered another pen drive inside a bag that contained the same images as well as 3.5 grams of cocaine when they arrested them on June 17.

Goodier was also in violation of a suspension sentence, which was imposed May 2018 for failure to follow the terms of the sexual harm prevention order.

Simon Mills, the defense, stated that his client was always ‘frank’ and honest with probation officers and, although he accepted the behavior as depraved, disgusting, asked the Judge for a second suspended sentence.

He explained that this incident happened three years back. “The current picture is of occasional offending.

“This is not an instance where the offense is becoming more serious.

She will complete all court orders and shows some tentative improvements in her attitude.

Goodier also had failed to follow the terms of the November sexual harm prevention order. She was late 13 days last year.

Goodier was told by Judge Everett that he agreed with her probation officer’s assessment of her risk for reoffending and sent her to jail.

He stated, “You are only a long way off changing your life.”

“You deceitfully participated in a cocaine-fuelled accident with other people.

You may keep the images for sexual pleasure, but not ashamed of the horrible offense.

“In the middle all of this, you failed comply with the terms and an order. Some might argue that it is minor, but not the first.

“Your criminal record is appalling, and you could say that you were extraordinarily lucky to not have been sent to prison before.”

“An important message should be given that anyone who engages in such disgusting conduct must go to prison.”

After receiving the sentence of 20 months, the ten-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order (Sex Harm Prevention Order) and the order to register on the Sex Offenders Register, Goodier cried.
