A young man was brutally attacked and killed on the streets yesterday.
Tyrone Williamson, 25, died shortly after an attack on Bolton in Lancashire.
The Sun reports that Williamson’s friends and neighbors were shocked by his death. However, they failed to revive him.
A group of friends who lost their hearts said that he was an exemplary father and was loved by young children.
Tyrone Williamson (25), was attacked and killed in broad daylight yesterday in Bolton, Lancashire.
Friends and family were horrified to learn that Mr Williamson died later in hospital.
A friend said that they tried to rescue him while shouting for help.
“He lay on the ground, and they were pressing up against his chest in an effort to keep him alive.
“It’s terrible that he’s died.”
Greater Manchester Police was called in to assist with a second stabbing less than one-mile away from Mr Willamson’s attack.
On suspicion of murder, a 41-year old man was taken into custody after sustaining serious injuries.
Richard Hill (39), said that it was shocking. It was chaotic. There was row, then shouting ensued and the lad was attacked.
The woman did not want to be identified but added that she heard someone shouting, and then someone screaming, “he was stabbed.” Help, help.”
“I saw him on the street.” It’s scary.’
A friend said that he was lying on the ground and they were pressing up and down against his chest in an effort to keep him alive.
Dan Clegg Detective Chief Inspector said that it was a sad incident in which a young man tragically lost his life.
Two other officers were also arrested after they confirmed that the stabbings had been linked.
On suspicion of assault, a 27-year old man was arrested. Both the man and woman, aged 21 years old, were also taken into police custody.
Dan Clegg Detective Chief Inspector said, “This is a tragedy where a young boy has tragically lost their lives.”
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this very difficult time.
While we are continuing to investigate yesterday’s events, ‘Officers will remain at the scene and cordons will be in place.
