Twiggy said Twiggy continues to push her boundaries as she believes it is important to confront her fears in candid interviews. 

This iconic 72-year-old model is a classic.  Last year’s podcast launch was the result of her work in the entertainment and fashion industries since 1966. Good HousekeepingEven with all of her experience and success, she is still anxious.

The magazine’s cover photo was taken by her. She insists it’s good for everyone to challenge their limits, but she also said that people should be brave enough to try new things.

She told the January issue of Good Housekeeping: ‘They say, “If you’re 30, you should wear this,” and, “if you’re 40, you should wear this,” – I think that’s a load of rubbish. You can find your own style, so go ahead and follow it.

‘I think it’s good for us all to do that. You’ve just got to be brave enough to do it! 

On her career, she added: ‘I remember when I got asked to do my first Broadway show, My One And Only, the director Tommy Tune rang me up and I said, “No, I can’t do that!”

The thought of speaking in front of 1,500 people terrified me. But Tommy said, “There’s no such word as can’t; pack your bag and get out to New York,” and I did.’

When asked if she still gets insecure, Twiggy added: ‘Oh, yes, I think everybody on the planet does, don’t they?’

For the magazine’s stunning cover shoot, the star was dressed in a royal blue flowing skirt and white shirt, as well as a gold jacket and black lapels.

Twiggy spoke out about the difficulties she experienced during the pandemic. She admitted she found lockdown extremely hard.

As she and Leigh Lawson were in their upper years, they expressed concern for themselves and Leigh Lawson.

However, the fashionista, who lost her first husband Michael Witney suddenly to a heart attack in 1983, says she is resilient having gone through some tough times.

The supermodel shared daughter Carly, 43, with Michael, although they had separated before he died.

However, she says she found losing him incredibly difficult, adding: ‘I do think I’m quite strong. But I don’t think that’s just me. I think as a woman, we’re all stronger than we know because we have to be.’
