A third vehicle, which was driving alongside Mr Temmermans, and the victim, on the A28 close to Harderwijk on November 19, filmed the drama on their dashcam.

According to him, he decided that he would accelerate in order to pass the woman. He also used his car to stop her from colliding with the guardrail.

According to Mr Temmermans, another driver pulled over in order to assist the woman who was unconscious.

He said, “He dialled 911. Then we looked into the car together. Her vomit was visible. It was still a feeling of a beating in my neck so I felt that it was reassuring.

I called her again: “Wake up! What happened?” It worked for about 2 minutes.

According to Mr Temmermans, his car was written off due to the accident.

“The timing was spot on.

Another stated, “That driver is a good person with heart and brain.” This person was saved.

An additional commentator added: “Faith in humanity restored!” Capes don’t always belong to heroes.

Dimitrios Angelakos said: “This man is an actual hero in life and should be admired.”

Another practical fan said: “I hope that the insurance company will cover the damages to this hero’s car.”
