Fashion bible Vogue has raised eyebrows with its best dressed women of 2021 list this year, naming Lady Gaga and Dua Lipa in its roundup – despite their quirky fashion choices.

Lady Gaga (35), who was on the list for the third consecutive year, was recognized for “redefining Hollywood style with her Stripper Boots”. She walked out of New York in a bodysuit, glittery tights, platform shoes, and a turban wearing a bodysuit, glittery tights, high-heeled platforms, and sky-high platform heels.

Dua Lipa, on the other hand was celebrated for her ability to seamlessly transition from music and fashion, despite some bright colours clashing. This included a pink top with daring cutouts and butterfly embellishments. 

Elsewhere Derry Girls actress Nicola Coughlan, 34, was an unexpected entry to the list, with Vogue defending her mix of cardigans with tulle as ‘niche’.
