A beach hut was purchased for more than half of a million pounds by someone who had never even been to it.

The 344 square feet shack called Ferndale was bought for in excess of £550,000 by someone who did an online ‘tour’.

It has two bedrooms and is perched high on a cliffside with a view of Whitsand Bay. This is located between Looe and Plymouth in Devon.

Charts Edge, estate agents, stated that the buyer had not seen the property in person.
