One woman found out she had booked rooms in a house shared with her friends for a vacation, and not an entire holiday home.
Hairdresser Holly Long, 23, of York, paid £150 for the night in Manchester with her friends Callum Clancy and Liam Cates, after finding the property on Booking.com.
Only when their friends arrived, did they realize that they had booked two rooms in the shared house with a group girls?

Hysterical: Hairdresser Holly Long, 23, of York, paid £150 for the night in Manchester with her friends Callum Clancy and Liam Cates, after finding the property on Booking.com. They arrived to discover they had reserved two rooms in a house shared with a dirty garden.

Amazing views: Holly shared an TikTok video that showed a tour of Holly’s house. It included the messy garden with garbage and filthy mattresses (pictured).

Sharing accommodation: One group of teenage girls stayed at the property as well and left half-eaten dishes and empty cans of fizzy drinks on the counter.
To make matters worse, the house had a partially-cooked curry and a shabby garden with a stained mattress.
Holly, Callum, Liam and Liam saw the humorous side of things and captured a clip that became viral on TikTok.
Holly, meanwhile, gave a humorous tour of Holly’s house and the ‘room with the view’ to the filthy gardens.
She explained: ‘I booked this place in Manchester on Booking.com, we paid £150 for the night which I wouldn’t have minded if the rooms were actually okay but I thought I’d booked the whole place.
“Me, my best friend pulled up to the house. We almost drowned when we realized we were inside a shared apartment.
“The curry smell was strong when we entered the house. We went straight into the kitchen and found a curry bowl with skin on it, which clearly caused the smell.

Holly saw the humorous side of things: Holly and her friends laughed as they captured the incident in hilarious TikTok videos. It has received more than 12,000 views.

The view from your room! Holly laughed about her garden view, then revealed this depressing scene of damp bedding and piles of garbage outside of her bedroom.

Personal soap opera: Holly’s friend stifled their giggles while they listened as the girls in other rooms argued

Holly arrived with her friends to fill up the kitchen and back yard (left), and she was filled with filth.
“As we got ready to go to Christmas markets, the other guests were screaming for hours at one another. The argument started the minute we arrived.
‘The next morning, when I was feeling hungover, I pulled open the curtains to discover that there were literal mounds outside of the windows and even a bed added into the yard.
‘When I saw the garden I nearly p****d my pants.
“It wasn’t my fault, but the listing doesn’t mention it as a shared home. I should have reviewed reviews since they are red flags. But I didn’t do enough research.
