A 38-year old woman has been charged with attempted murder following the serious injuries to a Christmas Eve child in West Yorkshire

  • Lisa Shackleton from West Yorkshire (38) was accused of attempted murder  
  • On Friday, she was detained in Keighley and a child with injuries was transported to the hospital.
  • Shackleton was scheduled to appear in Bradford Magistrates Court today










Following the Christmas Eve injury to a child, Keighley’s West Yorkshire woman has been accused of attempted murder.

Lisa Shackleton (38) was to make an appearance at the Bradford Magistrates’ Court. 

After concerns for the welfare of an injured child at an address within the city, she was taken into custody

West Yorkshire police said the child was rushed to hospital with serious injuries but is now believed to be in a stable condition, YorkshireLive reports.  

The BBC received a statement from West Yorkshire Police stating that the investigation was ongoing at Bradford District Police.
