West London police launch a hunt for a knifeman between 25-30 years old to stab a woman in her 50s in the head

  • A woman believed to be in her 50s was attacked in Uxbridge on Tuesday night

  • Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward by calling 101 










A woman who is believed to be in her 50s was horrifically attacked in west London and suffered stab wounds to the head.

Officers were called to the junction of Church Road and Godfrey Avenue, UB5 following a report of a woman who had suffered stab wounds to the head at approximately 09:45hrs on Tuesday.

The woman, believed to be in her 50s, was taken to a local hospital and discharged following treatment.

Police launched a search for the knifeman and have asked anyone with information to come forward.   

The suspect was described as a man of light skin and dark complexion, between 25-35 years old, with a slim build. 

He is believed to be between 5ft 6-8inches tall. He was wearing a woolly headband, dark tracksuit, blue shirt, and trainers. 

The investigation continues and no arrests have been made.
