Online, a woman discovered a tampon hidden under her boyfriend’s clothing and sent the serial number to Tampax. It was not made until then and it could have been a sign that he was cheating.

Lois Saunders, 23,  from Liverpool, shared a video to TikTok showing her discovery of the tampon and subsequent email exchange with its manufacturer Tampax.

She told how Finn Denny had been on her lap and that she was also sitting down when she noticed Benefit mascara underneath the Tampax.

She laughed and said her boyfriend had never allowed another woman to live in his bedroom. It must have been the previous owner.

“There is a tampon underneath Finn’s clothes and he denies that he had a girl,” she says.

“I don’t even joke about it.” It doesn’t have enough dust on the it to be considered old,” she says as she puts her head underneath the wardrobe in an effort to find it.

After sharing a screen of her email, she explained to Tampax the code by saying that “I found it in my boyfriend’s draw so I’m conducting some investigations”.

Grace from Tampax Customer Service wrote back, explaining that the product was manufactured 11 December 2019.

This happened before Finn arrived. Lois cleared Finn’s name and the couple believed it was a gift from one of the girls who lived there.

It has been seen nearly 4 million times. There was mixed reactions to the video. Some called Lois a genius and said they would do it again, while others called her psycho.

“I was sitting down on his lap. He was in front of the wardrobe. So I turned my back so that I was upside down. I saw under the wardrobe and wondered “What is it?”

‘So I look and was like “what the f***” He said he’s never had a girl in that room’.

Elle added that she was inspired to “take matters into her own hands” and Googled the serial number at the end of each tampon.

‘I was sitting there googling what code on the side of the tampon means, Finn was sitting there going “what the f***, you’re nuts”

“We are all together until this day. So happy ending.”
