Locals were stunned to see soldiers at the border of Poland and Belarus after they appeared on Tinder during the continuing migrant crisis.

Grodno is a Belarusian village that was close to an inflamatory border. Women noticed a flood of young soldiers from Poland, Lithuania, and Belarus.

A profile from Michal (a Polish soldier aged 25), is available on the app. His photo features him holding a gun to the camera.

He giggles and asks, “Are your eyes staring at me equipment?”

He added: “I created a profile here to test the app, and I don’t think anyone will swipe right. But if they do, I’ll invite them to have a chat.”

It comes as troops have been bolstered on both sides of the border in recent days, where around 4,000 refugees have gathered after being ferried there by forces loyal to Belarusian tyrant Alexander Lukashenko.

However, soldiers are still pursuing romance despite the chaos.

Women in the Belarusian town of Grodno, which is close to the inflammatory migrant border checkpoint, spotted a deluge of hopeful soldiers looking for love on Tinder. One profile on the dating app is from a 20-year-old Polish soldier called Michal, whose photo shows him pointing a gun at the camera (pictured)

Artur (24-year-old Polish soldier) is another Tinder profile. He can be seen in a parade with a face mask on and holds an automatic rifle.

Another, titled ‘Aleks 20,’ listed his interests as “travel, photography and cooking, cat lover, fishing, and baking.”

Others profiles include a Lithuanian soldier aged 26 called Mantas. A Belarusian soldier says that he loves music, running, swimming, hiking, and exercising.

Anja, a Belarusian woman from Belarus, shared photos of profiles via Twitter. She received them through a friend living in the border area.

Anja wrote, “This is Tinder’s current look if you are a Grodno woman.” It is not funny.

She has since been flooded with support from local women, with one called Lena adding: ‘Bang, bang, bang… but of the wrong sort.’

Another Tinder profile from Polish soldier Artur, 24, who is seen standing in a lineup parade wearing a face mask and holding an automatic rifle (pictured right), says he likes to be 'active' and 'very often goes cycling to interesting places to take photos'. However, Tolga Ra, a Twitter user, stated that she would love to see Tinder ?…. These men are only sharing their true lives.

“And they don’t even have one kilo” of makeup on.

Anja, the original poster of Tinder profiles, replied: “I’m not judging.”

These screenshots don’t belong to me, but were taken by a friend who lives nearby.

“It’s just an uncommon situation in Belarus.”

It comes as Mail Online revealed that Polish border guards were forced to fight off an attack by hundreds of migrants at the frontier with Belarus with water cannon and flash grenades this morning, in the latest escalation of tensions on the EU’s eastern front.

In spite of the freezing conditions, Warsaw’s authorities ordered that a group of people throw stones and smoke bombs at soldiers.

A police officer sustained a skull fracture after being struck in his face.

Many of the thousands of refugees who are desperate have arrived at the border from North Africa and the Middle East.

Since the start of the summer influx, at least eleven migrants died.

A police water cannon douses migrants camped at the Polish border with Belarus as the migrant crisis continues

As the crisis of migrants continues, police use water to douse the migrants who are camped near the Polish border with Belarus.

On Monday, one of them was laid to repose, a 19 year-old Syrian living in the war-torn town of Homs.

Lukashenko’s men seemed to force migrants through the gaps in fence, as evidenced by video that was released today. Other footage also showed Lukashenko cutting holes in barbed wire.

A special fleet of water cannon trucks has been deployed at Kuznica’s border crossing with Bruzgi, where hundreds of migrants have gathered over the past week to try and reach the EU.

A new video shows Polish police shooting a water gun across the border at migrants crossing the Belarus border.

MailOnline was informed by a spokesperson for the Polish Border Guard that migrants at the crossing at Bruzgi (on the Belarusian side) have been attacking Polish border services for approximately an hour.

These foreigners were aggressively repelled by water cannons.

The Polish Border Service said that the migrants had been throwing stones at them and objects that were emitting smoke.

“A banging sound was heard, and an aggressive foreigner threw a log of timber through the fence.

A spokesperson added that the migrants camped near the border crossing in Bruzgi had been acting aggressively by throwing rocks and other objects at Polish Border Guard.

Water cannons were used in order to keep illegal border crossings from happening.

Sergei Lavrov (Russian Foreign Minister) called Polish troops’ use of tear gas or water cannon ‘absolutely inacceptable’.

He said that the Polish side’s behavior was unacceptable at a Moscow press conference. He cited ‘tear gas, a water cannon, and shots above the heads of migrants in the direction of Belarus’.
