After he allegedly assaulted Yolanda Hadid’s mother, Zayn Malik has vowed that he will do everything he can avoid a custody dispute over his daughter with Gigi.
The couple, who share a 13-month old daughter Khai with each other, have reportedly decided to end their relationship in the wake of claims that Yolanda Hadid was’struck’ by the singer during an altercation at Yolanda’s Pennsylvania home.
The One Direction singer, aged 28, is said to be deeply concerned about his family’s future amid the dispute. He reportedly plans to fight’ to avoid a custody fight over Khai.
An associate from Zayn’s LA business told The Mirror: Gigi and he coparent Khai. But any suggestion that he has aggression issues, or cannot trust her to care for her, is something he’ll fight against with every ounce his body.

According to a source, even if Gigi, 26 years old, wants Zayn co-parent their infant girl, Yolanda could make ‘legal moves’ regarding custody.
MailOnline reached out for comment to Zayn’s representatives.
A source previously said that the rift between the couple centres only on the drama between Zayn and Yolanda, and has nothing to do with his abilities as a parent.
They added: ‘Gigi stands by Zayn’s ability to co-parent well.’
The singer, who is known for being very private, was said to have clashed in January with reality star Yolanda after she posted an Instagram post that showed the face of the 13-month old infant.
The split comes after Yolanda, the model’s mother, claimed that Zayn’struck her’ during a recent argument. Zayn has denied striking Yolanda.

The British singer must not have had contact with Yolanda, his granddaughter’s grandmother, nor John McMahon who was a security guard for Hadid family members who witnessed the incident and whom he allegedly harassed.

These documents confirm previous sources’ claims that there was a fight at the couple’s New Hope, Pennsylvania home. This news came alongside the announcement that Zayn and Gigi had separated. It is not clear if the couple split up before or after the fight.
The couple had a one year old daughter, Khai. They lived together in Pennsylvania, near Yolanda.
Yolanda visited the couple’s home on September 29 while Gigi was in Paris modeling. Although Zayn was present, it is not clear if Khai was. The next thing that happened is unknown, but the pair began arguing. It is claimed that Zayn grabbed Yolanda and’shoved’ her into a dresser.
He is also reported to have verbally abused her screaming, “Stay away!” [my] f*****g daughter and calling her a ‘f*****g Dutch s**t’.

A security guard was present for the exchange, according to the court documents, and Zayn screamed at him: ‘Get the f*** out of my f***ing house copper.’
At another point he is said to have referred to fathering Khai with the ‘f*****g sperm that came out of my f*****g c**k’.
Gigi has not commented in detail but released a statement on Thursday night.
Gigi is focused solely on Khai’s best interests. Her rep said that she asked for privacy during this time. Yolanda has not yet commented.

According to a source, the publication was informed by a source that Yolanda accidentally posted Khai’s photo on January 1st. Zayn became mad because he is so protective of his daughter’s privacy.
