Milwaukee parents react furiously to their 12-year old son being filmed at school by bullies and posted on Instagram.
Fox News 6’s Shameia Harris, Phil Rose and Phil Rose said that their son was deeply hurt by the incident at Morse Middle School.
Rose stated that Rose felt embarrassed, disgraced, and ashamed of what had happened.
Harris said that she was shocked that bullies were allowed to get away like this.
The 12-year-old was filmed by the other children who climbed up to the stall.
She stated, “You expect them in a comfort zone, protected.”
They have too much freedom and access that isn’t educational.
“I’m pretty sure he’sn’t the only one to have experienced this.”
“If he could become the last, that would suffice for me.”
School bullies filmed a 12-year-old boy at Morse Middle School, Milwaukee, on the toilets.
The video was taken from the bathroom and posted to Instagram by Morse Fight. This page appears to have been taken down.
The video was uploaded to a page on Instagram called Morse Fight, where it was viewed more than 100 times. The page appears to have been removed.
Fox reported that it featured clips of fights in the hallway, classroom, and toilet.
Rose stated, “You don’t think that you see this type stuff when you send kids to school,”
Rose and Harris have filed a police complaint.
The school stated that it was aware of the videos and had spoken with the students.
The school stated that Morse was aware of some of the videos posted online and the fights taking place within the school building.
“School leaders took swift action to address these problems, including mediations with students, referring them to support staff, reporting insensitive material directly to social networking sites, communicating with families, and meeting with them.
“We take the safety of our students very seriously and have taken all necessary steps to prevent similar incidents from ever happening.”
