Anthony Fauci is the Biden Administration’s chief medical advisor. He has said that America is now “out of the Pandemic Phase” of Covid-19. Hospitalizations and cases associated with this disease are still low.
Fauci was one of the strongest advocates of Covid measures, such as vaccine mandates or masks, during the pandemic. He made this statement yesterday on PBS.
He stated on-air, “We are certain right now in the country out of pandemic phase,”
“Namely, there aren’t 900,000.00 new infections per day, tens, tens, and tens of thousand of hospitalizations, and many thousands of deaths. We’re at an extremely low level.
He said that the virus cannot be eradicated completely, and long-term vaccine programs might need to be continued.
We aren’t going to eradicate the virus. “We can reduce that number and continue to vaccine people. It might not be once a year. That could be more often, but it would be enough, he said.
“But, at the moment, we’re not experiencing a pandemic in this country.”
As the nation’s highest-ranking infected persons per week rises to around 50,000, the chief medical advisor has made these comments. According to Reuters, this is just 6 percent of peak.
Fauci’s historic declaration was still a major news story that American citizens have been waiting for since the beginning of the pandemic. However, it was hidden in an interview with PBS and hasn’t been seen since.
So the question is: Why didn’t Fauci, who for over two years has been the government’s most prominent spokesperson on Covid, make an announcement telling the American people that there was no major pandemic threat to their public health?

Anthony Fauci, the top physician advisor to the Biden administration has stated that the United States is no longer in the ‘pandemic phase’ Covid-19. This means that the number of cases and hospitalizations related to the disease remains low.

Fauci has long been a vocal advocate for draconian Covid measures, such as vaccine mandates or masks, throughout the pandemic. He made this statement yesterday during an PBS broadcast

While most Covid restrictions like mask mandates are now lifted throughout the country, there are some unjustifiably severe pandemic controls that still exist.
A federal judge dismissed the nationwide federal mask order that required people to use masks for transit and commercial flights earlier in this month.
US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), also updated its February face-covering guidelines. It recommended indoor masking should be used only in communities considered to be high risk for Covid. Mask mandates for large crowds, such as sporting events, are now no longer valid.
However, Covid controls have been relaxed across the country. Children under 5 years old in New York City’s public schools are subject to “close-contact restrictions”, including the wearing of masks.
Although the mandate is still in force there, medical specialists and virologists generally agree that Covid has an extremely low chance of children dying or becoming severely ill.
Covid-related death rates have dropped sharply in the US, partly because of rising immunity but also because more recent variants are less dangerous than their predecessors.
Today, there are approximately 300 deaths due to Covid in the US each day.
Fauci has meanwhile increased his isolation and mask-wearing policy in spite of yesterday’s comments on PBS. He declined an invitation for the prestigious White House Correspondents Association Dinner (WHCA).
According to CNN sources, the adviser was invited as an ABC News guest and originally planned on attending, however, the source said that he changed his mind after he became concerned about the potential for the dinner to become a “super-spreader” event.
This year, however, there is a vaccination requirement. All guests must present proof that they have passed a negative Covid test to be allowed to join the dinner.
The WHCA dinners, a long-standing tradition, are a way for celebrities, politicians and media to have fun in a not so serious place.
Bob Hope, Frank Sinatra, and Barbra Straisand were past performers. Since the 1980s comedians have been providing entertainment. They make the main course of any dinner, whether it’s gentle or not so gentle, with ‘roasting’.

Fauci, however has reaffirmed his policy of isolation and mask-wearing despite yesterday’s comments to PBS. Fauci declined an invitation to attend the prestigious White House Correspondents Association dinner (WHCA).

Investigators allege that Dr. Anthony Fauci (left) shut down all coronavirus lab leak theories after being lauded by Peter Daszak (right), the father of gain-of-function research. They also claim researchers associated with the Wuhan Institute of Virology, including Daszak, tried to hide evidence about the pandemic’s early spread as lab leak hypotheses began to emerge
Vanity Fair conducted an investigation earlier this month and found that Fauci had silenced all discussion of Covid’s origin in a laboratory leak – not animal-to-human transmission – after helping a controversial scientist obtain millions in federal funding for bat research.
Analyzing more than 100,000 leaked documents, the magazine claimed that Fauci’s approval of Peter Daszak helped his nonprofit, EcoHealth Alliance, an organization dedicated to shielding society from emerging infectious diseases, to develop the Covid-19 virus in a laboratory in Wuhan, China.
They also claim researchers associated with the Wuhan Institute of Virology, including Daszak, tried to hide evidence about the pandemic’s early spread as lab leak hypotheses began to emerge.
The report doesn’t prove how the pandemic started. However, it does show that Daszak was well aware that the gain-offunction research his agency conducted was ‘risky’. He also failed to disclose the details of his projects to U.S. governments as promised.
Interviews with five ex-staff members were conducted by the magazine. It also interviewed 33 sources.
It did however show that the non-profit operated in a murky environment of grant agreements and flimsy oversight. They also pursued government funding for scientific research, partly by pitching high-risk research.
Some allege that Fauci, whose agency in 2014 issued a $3.7million grant to EcoHealth Alliance, directly contributed to the pandemic spread by providing funds that were used to support gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV).
EcoHealth issued WIV nearly $600,000 in sub-awards before the National Institutes of Health (NIH) suspended the grant in July 2020 – months following the outbreak of Covid, due its controversial work.
