On Thursday, President Joe Biden was looking lost after finishing a speech regarding the country’s continuing supply chain crisis. When he looked up to give a handshake gesture, he realized that there wasn’t anyone else present.
In yet another gaffe, the 79-year old president said that he was a full professor at Penn State despite not teaching any classes at the university.
Biden seemed disoriented last week during an event where former President Barack Obama visited the White House, his first since his resignation.
Following the conclusion of his speech in Greensboro North Carolina with the signoff, ‘God Bless You All’, footage taken from Thursday’s event shows Biden turning right and apparently saying something to that empty space. Then he gestures to shake hands, suggesting that the president was not aware he was on the podium alone.
The clip shows the aging Democrat frantically looking at the camera. With a confused look on his face, he walked up to the podium before wandering aimlessly in the packed auditorium. He realized that no one was available to touch him.
The president then bizarrely turned his back to the audience, looking lost on the stage as music rolled, marking the speech’s conclusion.
Biden’s bizarre behavior – one of many brain slips the president has had in recent years — instantly caused a storm online. Many, including Senator Cruz from Texas, pointed to Cruz’s latest display of cognitive impairment. deterioration.
Watch the video below:
Biden was in Greensboro to view North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. He visited this university as part of a push to get Congress to pass the Bipartisan innovation Act. It aims to raise funding for domestic semiconductor production.
Biden stated to the crowd that 70% of U.S. inflation could be attributed to Vladimir Putin, the Russian leader.
Biden said that he once taught at Penn State as a full professor.
Minutes after the end of the speech, the Texas representative shared the video clip of Biden (the oldest US President) with a caption including a wide-eyed Emoji.
Others criticized Biden’s behavior at the end the speech as ‘elder abuse,’ and raised questions about Biden’s mental condition.
“Where is the White House or Biden family handling agents whose job it’s to make him look great?” wrote Harmeet K. Dhillon, former vice chairwoman of the California Republican Party following the display. “This is really bizarre,” said Harmeet K. Dhillon, former vice chairwoman of the California Republican Party. He added, “unless they WANT his appearance to be dementia patient.”
Robby Starbuck (politician), is currently running for Congress in Tennessee’s forthcoming Republican Primary. Music makes the situation 10x worse. This man is not fit to run for President. Period.’
Greg Price, Newsweek’s reporter, joked that “all of the leading physicians agree shaking hands with air is just one symptom of an stutter,” blaming the president for his previous comments about the coronavirus.
Some others called Biden’s remarks at the end the speech “elder abuse” and challenged the president with his mental condition.
As part of a push to get Congress to approve Bipartisan Innovation Act (which aims to boost funding for semiconductor production in the US), President Obama was visiting Greensboro.
Vladimir Putin, the Russian leader, could be responsible for 70 percent of U.S. inflation.
“What most people do not know is that 70% was caused by Putin’s Price Hike,” he stated.
According to data from the Labor Department, the inflation rose to an unprecedented 41-year high in March at 8.5 percent. In March, the Consumer Price Index rose 1.2 percent compared to the previous month.
Biden also claimed in a bizarre speech that he was formerly a full professor at the University of Pennsylvania.
‘I’ve been at a lot of university campuses, matter of fact for four years, I was a full professor at the University of Pennsylvania.’
Biden received nearly $1million from the university, despite being assigned a vague position and not teaching any regular classes.
He was the Benjamin Franklin Presidential Practice Professor, which is the highest honor given to a president in 2017, and the first ever to do so. According to the Philadelphia Inquirer he didn’t teach classes regularly but did make about 12 public appearances on campus at large-ticketed events. In 2017, 2018, and 2019, he received a salary check.
Biden has increased his domestic travel with states that are competitive six months before the midterm elections. Biden visited Iowa Tuesday and North Carolina Thursday. Biden will travel to North Carolina next Tuesday.
“Our economy has created 431,000 jobs just in March,” he stated, noting that in his 14-month presidency, he created more jobs than any American president.
He added that North Carolina has created 194,000 jobs in the last 14 months.
However, it remains to be seen if voters will believe Biden’s job argument. As inflation rose, the president’s approval ratings have dropped.
It hit an all-time low on Wednesday, according to a Quinnipiac poll which revealed that only 33 percent of respondents believe Biden is doing a good job as president.
The worrying behavior of the president came just nine days after Obama returned to the White House. Biden was left to wonder aimlessly as journalists flocked to him.
Joe Biden is seen wandering around the East Room looking for someone to talk to
Obama can be seen talking with other politicians, while President Biden watches alone.
Obama opened his speech by laughing at the joke that Vice President Biden was with him. Biden said that “some changes” had occurred in five years.
The event saw Obama give a speech to thunderous applause. Biden was left looking confused as he looked around the East room shaking hands with his fans.
Another clip shows Biden standing beside Obama and Vice President Kamala Harris while they shake hands. He watched, seemingly unaware that anyone was paying attention to him.
Since then, the clip has received a significant online response. Many have questioned – or even pitied – President Trump’s apparent declining state.
One person wrote, “I almost felt bad seeing it,” and another said: “The man that purportedly received 80 million votes, but can’t find any friends in a crowded place.”
One person said that Joe should be respected and people ought to have approached him out of respect. Respect the office, and give the man dignity. They tweeted that although I disagree with his policies or those of the Democrats, I still would speak with him if he would allow me to,
“I think we have a clue who is really in charge of the White House, and that’s Joe!” Another laughed.
Biden had another headache earlier this month when he incorrectly claimed that F was his favorite food.Obama was the vice president of irst Lady Jill Biden, a position he held for eighteen years. This was yet another mistake during the ceremony to commission Navy’s new nuclear submarine.
Republicans have pointed to Biden’s cognitive decline to explain the backtracking by the administration over his other verbal gaffes. Biden first told US soldiers in Warsaw (Poland) that they were going to Ukraine and then suggested that the US could use chemical weapons against Russia.
Biden’s off script gaffes concerning Putin’s removal as well as the Russian invasion in Ukraine has prompted critics and compelled them to call for the ’25th amendment’ by the United States to remove their commander-in-chief.
In the 25th Amendment which defines presidential succession, the Cabinet and vice president have the power to remove the commander-in-chief from office by a majority vote if it is determined that he/she is not fit for office. In US history, it has never been invoked.
Rand Paul, a Kentucky Republican senator, criticized Biden’s use cue cards for answering reporters’ questions about his remarks on Putin off the cuff.
Paul challenged Biden’s mental ability, claiming that the remarks of the elderly president were dangerous to national security.
Fox News: “A lot of the time when you are around someone with cognitive decline, it’s easy to try to help them with a sentence or complete it. But we shouldn’t have that to do for our commander-in-chief,” he said.
It is a threat to national security because it sends signals that Russia would not want.
“We don’t want to take over Putin’s place in Russia. We don’t want to see regime change.
“We won’t send troops into Ukraine. We’re also not going to use chemical weapons in a retaliatory attack.”
Marjorie Taylor Greene from Georgia, a Republican representative, was one of Biden’s biggest critics. She said the US should start looking within to implement regime change, rather than calling on other countries for their leadership.
She tweeted that the United States is the most important regime to change, last week.
Multiple polls indicate that Biden’s approval is at an alarming 39%. Real Clear Politics shows that the average disapproval rating for President Obama stands at 53.7 percent.
