This tech company hopes to see young people using the app and learning more about art.

Art Selfie was first available only to users who were located in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and India. It has been open to all since then.

You can also use the app to identify works of artwork and take virtual tours of museums.

‘Your selfie becomes a doorway into art — tap on your lookalike to discover more information about it or an artist that perhaps you’ve never heard of before,’ explained product manager Michelle Luo.

“Together with partner museums, we constantly experiment with new ways that people can discover art and interact with it.”
