‘The queer world is magical… the first episode gave me all the feels,’ she told Yahoo on Friday.

‘And our first kiss being a queer pash – SO MUCH YES! So why are we not rating? Ratings are in and they were morbid.

‘Are we exhausted by the franchise? Are we out and about having our own version of a queer because most of us are out of lockdown now?’ she asked.

What a flop:  Ratings for The Bachelorette have gone from bad to worse. After a terrible premiere on Wednesday night, The Bachelorette’s second episode has been rated the lowest in the history of the dating franchise.

The Bachelorette was defeated in TV ratings by Seven’s The Chase Australia, Home and Away, Seven and Seven’s The Chase Australia, and Nine’s gaming and reality programs including RBT, Hot Seat, and Paramedics.

It was easily outnumbered 10’s primetime show Gogglebox which attracted nearly twice the Bachelorette’s viewership of 596,000 viewers.

The Project beat reality dating programs, but had a small audience of only 394,000.

Oh dear: The show drew in a dire 345,000 viewers - 52,000 less than the opener

The Bachelorette’s only saving grace was its placement in the 16-39 demographic and fourth in 18-49.

The key demographics suggest that younger viewers are watching the show.

Channel 10 had a low audience share at 13.7% and 20.4% respectively for Thursday.

This comes just as The Bachelorette and The Bachelorette were announced by the station in their upfronts earlier in the week.

Despite both programs recording their lowest television ratings of all time for their respective seasons this season, it’s still a remarkable feat.

Daily Mail Australia reached out for comment to the 10 Network.

Disastrous: It comes as the station revealed in their upfronts earlier this week that both The Bachelorette and The Bachelor would be renewed for 2022. That's despite both programs recording their worst TV ratings of all time in their respective seasons this year
