Tiffany Jones, a co-star in the show, confirmed the news via Twitter Friday. She said: ‘RIP Captain Mark Howard. You were a joy.
According to reports, the former reality star has died suddenly at his Florida home.

There are currently no further details surrounding his death, TMZ reports.
Howard’s biography from Bravo states that he was born on a Michigan lake and had been a captain of yachts for just over 30 years.
He was an experienced skipper, having sailed to South Pacific, the Mediterranean, and Caribbean for luxurious trips.

Howard did not return to the show for the second season, even though the spinoff series was a huge success.
Howard would be replaced by Captain Sandy Yawn. He is still part of the reality series.
Hannah Ferrier spoke out about Howard in a 2019 interview with The Daily Dish, saying that they would ‘touch base’ once per year after their work together.
