Reading: A 17-year-old boy is accused of murder in connection to the stabbing death of 22 year old man on Halloween.

The murder of 22-year old man, Halloween Stabbing in Reading by a 17-year-old boy was the subject of an arrest.
Reece Heffernan, from Tilehurst, has been confirmed as the stabbing victim by police.
The cause of his death was determined by a post-mortem.
Thames Valley Police reported Wednesday that the boy aged 17 was detained by police on Wednesday and charged him with one count each of murder and perverting the course or justice.
His appearance is scheduled for Saturday at the Reading Magistrates’ Court.

This comes just two days after the investigation led to two arrests.
Hamzah Ahmed (18) of Reading has been charged for murder. Umer Arshad (23), from Wokingham has been accused of perverting justice.
A 29-year old man was added to the force, as well as two 19-years-old men. They were all Reading residents and had been arrested under suspicion of murder. Since then, they have been placed on investigation.

Hamzah Ahmed (18) from Reading has been charged for murder. Umer Arshad (23), is charged with perverting justice. After the stabbing that resulted in the death of Hamzah Ahmed, 18, from Reading, the police closed off Tilehurst Road.
