A dangerous burglar who is subject to a major manhunt after escaping from jail last month has popped up on Facebook – appearing to be celebrating his engagement while eating a piece of toast in his girlfriend’s bed.
Sam Hawkins revealed his plans to marry Danielle Foster via a Facebook post from prison on October 9 and the next day he jumped over the fence at HMP Sudbury in Derbyshire.
Last seen with fellow escapee Darren McKay (37), the 34-year old was hiking down A515 toward Ashbourne in the Peak District.
Police forces across the country have been looking for this “dangerous criminal” since then and are warning the public to not approach him.

Sam Hawkins, (photographed) jumped at HMP Sudbury, Derbyshire. He was then last seen walking down the A515 towards Ashbourne together with fellow escapee Darren McKay.

Hawkins, 34 years old, posted a status update from prison on September 9th, stating his plans to marry Danielle Foster. This was the day after he fled from the prison.
Yesterday Miss Foster posted a temporary profile photo to Facebook. It shows her looking into the camera as a Topless Hawkins eats toast next to her while she snoozes on her topless Hawkins.
He was also tagged with four blue hearts.
She changed her relationship status on July 5, 2013 to tell Hawkins that she was now dating Hawkins. Hawkins had previously been sentenced for nine years, four months, and three months prison.
MailOnline was told by a source that it is crazy. Danielle is the mother of four children and was only able to get together with him while he was behind bars. He hasn’t seen her from the outside, so this photo must be new.
“Up till now, all she has ever shared is pictures from prison calls.”
Hawkins was a member of seven south London gang members who were sentenced to almost 50 years imprisonment in June 2019.
Their crime spree ran from September 2017 to December 2018, when they were arrested.

Yesterday Miss Foster posted a temporary profile photo to her Facebook Page. It showed her smiling into the camera as a Topless Hawkins ate toast.
The gang targeted officers in south-east London for residential burglaries and reported that there was a 25% drop in crimes committed by them after they were arrested.
Hawkins was captured by HMP Sudbury as McKay, a burglar, making an escape around 10.15pm October 10.
Two rucksacks were reported to be with the group, along with another bag or towel.
The description of him was that he is medium-build, approximately 5ft 7ins tall and has brown hair.
Police forces across the country launched a manhunt for the escapees, and it also appears that they were able to make further escapes out of the low security jail.
Two days later, Adam Curtling (35), ran away and Robert Shannon Smith (28), a violent drug dealer, never came back after being released on temporary license.
HMP Sudbury is home to 581 prison inmates.
Day release is available to eligible prisoners who wish to be released from prison for education, work or any other purpose.
