Kate Middleton and her family were rare visitors last night, joining the Duke and Duchess to see the Royal Variety Performance at the Royal Albert Hall.
Kate looked stunning in the green sequinned dress by Jenny Packham, which she wore for her first Pakistan tour in 2019, while Prince William chose a sophisticated velvet suit.
As the pair stood to sing the national anthem, Kate’s parents Carole and Michael, as well as her brother James and his new wife Alizée Thevenet could be seen standing alongside her in the box to the left of the Royal Box.
It marks the first public appearance for the family since James and Alizée married in the French Riveria earlier this summer.

Carole looked beautiful at the event wearing a black, v-neck gown and three-quarter-length sleeves with belt detailing.
This mother-of-3 wore her brunette hair in a loose, natural style and seemed to be happy with her make-up.
Meanwhile Alizée cut a chic figure, donning a black sleeveless dress with a plunging neckline.
She wore her hair in loose curls across her shoulders as a wedding gift.

James, Michael’s son, looked exceptionally dapper at the event. Both wore matching black tuxedos and bow ties.
It marks the second public appearance for James and Alizée since they married.
James, who got engaged to Alizée, 32, in September 2019 but had to delay the ceremony twice in the last year due to Covid, finally tied the knot in Bormes-les-Mimosas in Provence in September.
The newlyweds looked more in love than ever when they visited the Bulgari Serpenti Christmas lights switch-on last week at its flagship boutique. They also attended a star-studded party held in association with Save The Children.
The duo posed for pictures alongside Bulgari Europe Managing Direcotr Vincenzo Puji and UK Managing Director Joyce Weng at the star-studded party.
James posted an Instagram snap of Ella’s Cocker Spaniel, days later, breaking his social media detox that he had started following the September wedding.

He wrote, “I have been so involved in embracing my wife and enjoying her first few months together.” I’ve realised I have unintentionally taken a social detox… which I suppose is no bad thing…BUT we are back – hope you don’t mind.’
James, who sometimes posts on social media for weeks at a time, encouraged his friends to stop posting.
He wrote, “I recommend that you do a social media detox every now and again – I actually believe the saying disconnect to connect is the best way to go.” ‘Over the last few months many of you have reached out…and thank you for checking up on me it means a lot.’
Prior to this, James’ last post was on September 12, when he announced his marriage with a picture of him and bride Alizée on Instagram and penned: ‘Words cannot describe how happy I am.’

Alizee, who swept her hair into a half-up do for the event, with two tendrils down each side of her face, opted for an off-the-shoulder gown which featured pretty lace detailing across the bodice.
Meanwhile, James looked every piece the proud groom, donning a white linen suit for the laid back event.
The newlyweds were joined by 50 guests including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their three children at the Chateau Leoube, an exclusive vineyard in the village that produces some of France’s finest rose wine.
Chateau Leoube is the property of Anthony Bamford, a British billionaire and chairman of JCB, along with his wife Carole.
Carole speaks out on the website of the vineyard about the moment she and her husband fell in love at the site in 1997.
She says: ‘Anthony and I had been looking for a house in Provence for a while when we eventually found Léoube, our sleeping beauty.
‘Set back from a quiet bay on the coastline, the house had been owned by the same family for years but hadn’t really been touched – we fell in love with it.’

Miss Thevenet and Mr Middleton, a French-trilingual financial analyst, first met when Ella, his pet spaniel, approached him at a London members’ club.
They announced their engagement in 2019 and had initially planned to marry in May 2018.
They were forced twice to postpone the date. He said in a post on Instagram in September last year: ‘It’s a year since I asked Alizée to marry me… what a year it’s been!
“Two houses, lockdown. Two attempts to get married. A litter of [dog emoji]The launch of new @ella.co company, a beard trim, and more. What’s best, I get to share this with @alizeethevenet. And I cannot wait to start whatever future holds.
