According to reports, he experienced memory loss as a result of the incident.
Cope reported that the Spanish Civil Guard became involved in the case. However it is not clear if any criminal proceedings have been brought against them.
It is unclear why the woman ran onto the track. Some reports speculate that she was simply trying reach the other side.
The identities of the people involved were not disclosed.
