Dean Stockwell, who is best remembered for his role as Admiral Al Calavicci on the iconic series Quantum Leap in the early 1990s, has passed away at 85. His acting career spanned more than 70 years.
A representative for TMZ confirmed that the veteran actor passed away peacefully at home on Sunday morning.
Stockwell starred with Scott Bakula for all 97 episodes. The sci-fi series aired in five seasons, 1989-1993.

Stockwell also had iconic roles on the big screen including the original Dune (1984), Paris, Texas (1984), To Live And Die In LA (1985), Blue Velvet (1986), Beverly Hills Cop (1987), and Air Force 1 (1997).
