Next month, Argentina will auction luxury items, including homes and cars, and other less expensive memorabilia.
The decision to sell a portion of the Argentine great’s estate was made by his surviving children – Diego, Giannina, Dalma, Jana and Diego Fernando – after their famous father died from a heart attack last year.
According to Express.co.uk Maradona was worth about $43million between 1984 and 1991 as he led Napoli to the Serie A crown. He also helped Argentina capture the World Cup. His famous Hand of God goal against England in 1987 semifinals earned Argentina the title.
The auction’s main attraction will be a house in Villa Devoto in Buenos Aires. It was gifted by Maradona to his parents in the 1980s when he joined the Argentine soccer club Boca Juniors.

A residence with six bedrooms on the first level, two bedrooms upstairs, a basement, and a swimming-pool in the backyard will be available for bidding starting at $900,000. The garage can hold three vehicles.
Another property in Mar de Plata will be up for sale at $65,000. The two-story house has a swimming pool on the patio.
The auction will be held on December 19th and will be streamed online. It will be managed by Buenos Aires-based Adrián Mercado Auctions.
A 2020 BMW 750I listed at $225,000 will also be available for bidding.
According to media outlets, the luxury vehicle is one among five that are available in Argentina.
Maradona’s fans can place a bid on a poster signed personally by the legend. This poster was part of a promotion for a documentary that La Gazzetta dello Sport released in 2006.
Replicas of Maradona’s time playing for Napoli (left) or Boca Juniors (right) will also be available in an auction. The auction will be streamed live from Buenos Aires, Argentina, December 19.

Civil and commercial judge Luciana Tedesco del Rivero granted Maradona’s children permission to move forward with the estate auction in October.
