Popular scientist Dr Karl Kruszelnicki shared his simple tip for curing a hangover. And why drinking more alcohol actually makes you feel better.

Dr Karl, a 73-year-old doctor who has been called “the people’s science” says that while another drink may temporarily alleviate symptoms, the best and most effective healer is time.

He said that a cure is only a little alcohol – the hair on the dog – which is a bad way to go down.

Karl Kruszelnicki, a popular scientist, has explained that drinking more alcohol can help with a hangover. However, he doesn’t recommend it.

Hangovers can occur when the body absorbs methanol, a toxic chemical that is found in alcohol in trace quantities.

Dr Karl stated that hitting the bottle again delays this happening because the body is forced instead to break down ethanol, the main component of alcohol.

He does not recommend that you get back on the booze.

He explained that some people feel so much better, they end up becoming alcoholics.

Dr Karl confesses later that he has been drunk enough to vomit twice in his entire life.

While having another drink like the classic Bloody Mary will alleviate hangover symptoms in the short run

Dr Karl says time is the greatest - and safest - healer

Although a second drink may temporarily relieve symptoms, the beloved science boffin said that time is the best and most reliable healer.

He stated, “The second, I thought “I’ll not do this again.”

The revelations come weeks after the much-loved scientist revealed what would happen if a person drank a Covid-19 vaccine instead of injecting it into their arm.

Dr Karl claimed stomach acid would likely destroy any vaccine ingested through the mouth.

‘[The vaccine]It is optimized to work by injecting a small amount into the muscle, and then various other things happen there,” he explained during an interview with Triple M’s The Danny Lakey show.

Instructions on Covid-19 vaccines stress they should be administered intramuscularly (above) and not swallowed

Instructions for Covid-19 vaccinations emphasize that they should only be administered intramuscularly, (above), and not by mouth.

He said, “The vitamin isn’t that much, it’s not less than a milliliter, so I’m guessing you could swallow it into the mouth, without worries, and it would then go down into your stomach, no worries.

“In the stomach, extreme acidity may very likely break it down and even destroy it.”

Dr Karl said that although there are vaccines that can be swallowed (including for polio), the health industry was moving towards spray vaccines.

He said, “We are now moving to vaccines which work where the heart is, the lungs,”

Lakey asked Lakey whether the vaccine tasted like medicine.

Dr Karl said, “It’s only one mil, half of a mil so it would depend on each individual vaccine because there are so many,”

Although stomach acid, enzymes, and gut bacteria can kill vaccine antigens in humans, vaccines for diseases like poliovirus and rotavirus can be ingested because they are both gut pathogens.

The beloved science boffin shared a message on TikTok about the danger of dying from the Covid-19 vaccine earlier this year.

The expert stated that AstraZeneca vaccine is one in a million.

This figure is based upon data from Therapeutic Goods Administration. According to this data, there have been nine deaths related to AstraZeneca vaccines that were administered in Australia from more than 9.6million doses as of August 29.

There have only been nine deaths linked to the AstraZeneca vaccine from more than 9.6 million doses administered across Australia as of August 29

Dr Karl said the chance of dying from Covid-19 once infected is 22,000 in a million

As of August 29, there were only nine deaths associated with the AstraZeneca vaccination. This is despite the fact that Australia has administered more than 9.6 millions doses.

Although there have been rare blood clotting cases linked to the vaccine, Dr Karl stated that 40 people in a million are still at risk from getting hurt in an automobile accident.

He stated that the chance of dying from Covid-19 is 22,000 per million. This is 550 times greater than the risk of getting killed on Australia’s roads.

‘22,000 to 1. Dr Karl stated, “Those are really great odds.” “That’s why I got vaccinated as quickly as possible, and so should you.

According to the Department of Health in Victoria, there were 18,628 deaths and 800 cases during the second Covid wave.

These numbers translate to a death rate 42,000 per million
