Drake appeared in public Monday for the first-time since his performance with Travis Scott at Astroworld, where eight people died.

After landing on a Toronto airport, Canada’s 35-year old rapper, he was seen returning to Toronto after he had been invited as a guest at the Houston festival.

Scott and the hitmaker are being sued for the destruction caused by the festival. Scott was also seen.

Drake posted a social media statement Monday in which Drake said that he was sorry for those who have lost loved ones and anyone else who’s suffering.

He wrote, “I don’t like using this platform to express grief or an emotion so delicate.”

Drake and Scott are being sued over the festival’s devastation. As many as 68 people have attempted to hold them responsible.

Powerhouse Texas attorney Thomas J. Henry, who is representing some of the victims, said more people continue to contact him ‘by the hour’ about suing the rappers.

He said that he was hearing from more and more victims of the Astroworld tragedy. While we all are still trying to comprehend the entire scope of Astroworld’s tragedy, I think the total damages it caused could reach into the billions.

Additionally, he partnered with BetterHelp for virtual therapy to offer concertgoers a month free of their services. But the company has come under fire for its poor service quality and insufficient compensation for therapists.
