Halyna Hutchins’ father, a cinematographer, was killed by a prop shot in the hands Alec Baldwin. He insists that Baldwin was not responsible for his daughter’s tragic death.

Anatoly androsovych was the first person to speak with the media about the incident. He blamed the film’s armoury teams for giving Baldwin a loaded weapon.

Anatoly is currently working to get visas for his wife Olga (and daughter Svetlana) to enter the US to support Halyna and Matt (and son Andros), who are just 9 years old and without their mother.

Anatoly said to the Sun that Anatoly and her family still couldn’t believe Halyna’s death, adding that her mother was going through a lot of grief.

“But I don’t hold Alec Baldwin responsible — it is the responsibility of the props people who handle the guns.’

‘[Halyna’s son] has been very badly affected — he is lost without his mother.’

Baldwin accidentally killed Halyna HUTCHINS, 42, the Director Of Photography for his new movie “Rust”, on Thursday, 1.50pm, at a Santa Fe Ranch, New Mexico.

It is believed that he fired one round from a Colt revolver, which somehow struck both Hutchins as well as the movie’s director Joel Souza, 48.

Yesterday, it was revealed that other members of set were using the revolver for target practice. It had probably fired live rounds just prior to the shootings of Halyna as well as director Souza.

Svetlana, Halyna’s younger sister, has railed against ‘negligence’ at the film set, which she blamed in her older sibling’s suicide.

“How could this negligence have been allowed by such a team? This is an absurd coincidence.

“I don’t know where the investigation will take me, but there are so many possibilities. It’s impossible to live with the shock of it all, God only knows.

Hutchins' social media shows she was married to Matthew (pictured together), a Los Angeles-based lawyer. It is unclear when the pair married, but they have a son who was born either in late 2012 or early 2013

Matthew Hutchins shares a 9 year-old son Andros with Halya. His father, Halya, is currently struggling to cope with the death of his mother.

Halyna Hutchins was born in 1979. She was the daughter to military parents. She grew-up on a Soviet base in the Arctic circle’. She recalled what it was like. They were surrounded by nuclear submarines and reindeer.

In a sign of her broad interests, Halyna, who was fluent in Russian and English, attended the National University of Kyiv, Ukraine’s most prestigious higher education institution, and graduated with a degree in International Journalism.

This was her ticket to travel abroad. She spent time as an investigative reporter, working in print as well as documentaries.

In 2018, Halyna was named as part of the inaugural class of the 21st Century Fox DP Lab, a networking cohort designed to expand opportunities for female cinematographers by connecting them with working professionals.

She was named one of the ‘rising stars’ of cinematography by American Cinematographer in the following year.
