Irina Borisova Shadrina, 33, of Hallandale Beach, faces felony charges of vehicular homicide and manslaughter after the crash that killed 61-year-old Lionel Michael Marquez, police say 

Florida woman arrested after driving drunk and killing a man next to her Ferrari. She knocked him off a bridge that was 30 feet high into a bay with her Maserati.

Irina Borisova-Shadrina (33), of Hallandale Beach, surrendered on Monday to Miami-Dade Police. This was two weeks after the collision that claimed the life of Lionel Michael Marquez (61). 

Marquez was struck by Shadrina’s 2019 Maserati while standing next to his Ferrari. 

According to police, toxicology reports that night showed that Shadrina was driving three-times over the legal limit. 

She is now facing felony charges for vehicular homicide, manslaughter.

Bond was set at $15,000, which Shadrina already posted.  

Local10 reported that the arrest report stated that the defendant drove her car while intoxicated in an urban area frequented by many motorists. This showed a reckless disregard for others’ safety. 

Marquez’s $625,000 2021 Ferrari SF90 crashed on Friday, October 15. It was located along the Westbound lanes of the 163rd Street bridge.

He got out of the car to check the engine. He was standing near Collins Avenue at the rear of the vehicle before the crash.

He was then sent over the railing by Shadrina’s 2019 Maserati. He fell at least 30feet from the bridge.

Police then arrived at the scene around 11pm and found the wrecked cars. Marquez's body was found 12 hours later

Sunny Isles Beach Police arrived on the scene at 10.50pm to shut down Westbound lanes.

Police spent hours searching for Marquez’s body. He was found hours later by police helicopters and special dive teams.

According to the arrest report Shadrina was driving her Maserati, and she swerved left to hit Marquez. He was then knocked off the air and into the Intercoastal Waterway.

Shadrina drove 450 feet east of the crash site.

After smashing the Maserati into a barrier wall, when its front left tire fell off, she only stopped.

Police arrived on the scene around 11pm, and discovered the cars in pieces and more than a dozen witnesses.

The officers taped the scene and began searching for Marquez.

He was found at 10:10 am on Saturday, October 16.

Shadrina’s blood samples showed that her blood alcohol level was three times higher than the Florida legal limit of.07. 

Shadrina had been priorly charged with non-serious offenses including unnecessary use of horn, attaching a tag or plate not assigned to the vehicle, and failure to register the vehicle.

Shadrina was a director and president of Luxury Entertainment Group, an event-planning company. 

Shadrani could spend up to 30 years prison if convicted of both the charges.
