Man United fans are now facing ridicule after watching Liverpool’s 5-0 defeat.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s toothless United side were soundly beaten by Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday night, with in-form forward Mohamed Salah scoring a hat-trick.
United fans poured out of the ground after Liverpool scored their fourth goal just before the half-time break.
But many loyal fans stayed and even sang: ‘You are nothing special, we lose each week.’
However, while some United fans displayed a stiff upper lip in the face humiliation, they now face a day on social media mocking.
Rival club supporters gleefully added to United fans’ pain, rushing to social networks to mock last night’s performance.
One Twitter user joked about things being ‘useless since Fergie quit’. He shared a Venn Diagram which included United, Prince Andrew, Black Eyed Peas, and a Venn Diagram.
Sir Alex Ferguson was United’s most successful manager. Fergie, also known as Fergie, is the stage name of the former lead vocalist in the Black Eyed Peas band.
In the meantime, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, also known as Fergie, divorced Prince Andrew in 1996. Following allegations of sexual assault in the US, he has since resigned his front-line royal duties.

Others laughed about United fans being forced by stewards to remain at the ground after streams of supporters were seen leaving Old Trafford after only 45 minutes.
One Twitter user shared a stock photo of a football fan being removed from the stadium by stewards. He then added a United badge to the caption, “Shocking scenes as United fans are prevented from leaving the stadium and forced to watch the match.”
Others joked that United fans were consoled by Norwich fans after their side was beaten 7-0 by league leaders Chelsea.
It comes as it was revealed today that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is now the overwhelming bookmakers’ favourite to be the next Premier League manager to be sacked after United’s embarrassing 5-0 defeat on Sunday.
In recent weeks, the Red Devils boss has come under increased scrutiny. This is despite the club’s humiliation at their hands.
Solskjaer is now the 1/6 favourite Betfair to be given his marching orders next.
United were held to an 1-1 draw by Everton in the first month, and were then beaten 4-2 last weekend by Leicester.
Solskjaer’s side found themselves trailing Atalanta 2-0 at the half-time. However, they turned it around and won the second half 3-2.
United were decimated on Sunday by Jurgen Klopp’s side at home to increase the pressure on Solskjaer.
Gary Neville, former United defender insists that Solskjaer’s old club should not fire him and his coaching staff after the 5-0 loss.
After United was dismantled, Jamie Carragher and Graeme Souness spoke on Sky Sports. They did not call for the Norwegian to lose their job but suggested that he should surround himself by better coaches.
Neville urged Red Devils to resist wholesale changes and stressed that United’s main problem was not on the pitch but off it.
“On the pitch, it is not good enough.” He stated that he had been a manager for four-months and had a terrible time.

United have managed to keep one clean sheet in the 21 matches they have played. Their defensive flaws were also under scrutiny via social media. Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire were particularly praised for their performances.
