Australian mother-of-two shares how she wraps a present to appear like a tiny shirt and bow tie.

Chantel Mila (known online as Mama Mila), has created a wrapping technique just in the time for Christmas.

Wrapping gift wrap paper around presents and bases is the first step.

The mum begins by wrapping gift wrap paper around the present and base as normal, then flips the gift over onto its side and rolls the top paper down twice, once the paper is rolled she makes two slits toward the centre

Mama Mila then folds the slits into a shirt collar shape and secures the gift wrap paper with sticky tape, then finishes the gift wrap with a matching bow tie made from the same patterned paper

Chantel Mila, who is known online as “Mamma Mila”, has posted the mini-shirt wrapping technique just in time to Christmas. It’s a simple and quick way for people to wrap presents.

She then flips the present over on its side, and rolls the top sheet of paper twice. After the paper is rolled, she will cut two small slits in the middle.

Mama Mila folds the slits to form a collar and attaches the gift wrap with sticky tape.

The gift wrapping was completed by a matching bow tie, made with the same patterned papers.

This wrapping style adds a special festive feel to gift wrapping and will impress family members and friends with its whimsical design.

A woman online commented, “This is very cute. Wow, I love that idea.”

Another said, “I wish that I had seen this TikTok before wrapping all my men’s Christmas shirts,”

An Australian blogger has shared her hack for creating a stunning bow for your Christmas gifts

Melbourne mum-of-two Chantel Mila, who goes by MamaMila online, demonstrated how to make the bow in a video posted to TikTok

Melbourne blogger Chantel Mila (pictured right), who goes by MamaMila online, shared her technique of creating a stunning bow for your Christmas gifts in a viral video posted to TikTok

In an online video, the handy mom from Melbourne shared her tips for creating the bowtie details on the shirt.

First, she takes a length of paper scrap and folds it in half. Next, she shapes it into either a fish-like shape or untied bowtie.

Chantel makes a triangle of the “tail” and then cuts two tiny slits on each side at the narrowest point, one at top and one below.

Then she slides the slits in one another, and then pushes the other side down to form a bow shape.

Chantel secures her bow with a small piece of wrap paper at the center and then sticks it on to the gift.

Online, a woman wrote, “I love it. Can’t believe that you made this out of scraps.”
