After being forced to postpone their nuptials six times due to changing coronavirus restrictions, the couple was undoubtedly relieved to finally get it done.

The broadcaster has spoken highly of his third wife, praising her for being his rock during anxiety after his show was cancelled following the suicide of a participant.

After the wedding, Jeremy spoke to The Sun, saying that despite all the Covid cancellations, postponements, it was our sixth attempt and we were able to enjoy what we had longed to.

Jeremy, who was back at work earlier this year as a TalkRadio presenter in the drivetime slot, said: ‘Vick has been my rock during my darkest hours. It was so wonderful to see her today having so much fun at the wedding of their dreams.

It comes after Jeremy credited his fiancée with saving him after sinking to ‘his lowest’ when his ITV show was cancelled following a guest’s suicide.

Vicky was highly praised by him during his darkest days. His depression grew worse when he tried to take anti-anxiety medication to get through it.

He said that he had seen him at his best, and at my lowest, and that he still wanted to marry him. She is the love and joy of my life, and I am very fortunate to have her as my wife.

Jeremy, who has four children, two from previous marriages, and a son and daughter with Vicky, has been seeing Vicky – Vicky’s former nanny – since 2017, and got engaged in February 2017.

Jeremy shared that he fell into depression and needed to take medication for anxiety after his show was canceled due to the death of a guest.

After being ‘completely devastated’ by losing his job, the former daytime TV host stated that he couldn’t leave his home or open the curtains.

The show was cancelled in May 2019, after Steven Dymond (63), was reported to have taken his own death less than a week after failing a lie detector exam while filming an episode. The show was not broadcast.

Kyle broke his silence about the axing and said that he felt ‘awful” at being made a scapegoat over the death, adding that accusations ‘often seemed only to be directed at me’.

Speaking about Vicky’s role in helping his recovery, he said: ‘I could not have done it without her — she’s just been so balanced and grounded and supportive…

“She’s not from the TV world, and her advice really helped me see things in a different light. Vic deserves a lot of credit for getting me back on track.

“She has seen me at my best, and at the lowest point of my life, and still wants me to marry her.” She is the love and joy of my life, and I am very fortunate to have her as my wife.

He spoke about the aftermath of the show and how he was treated. But I was only the face.

After losing his job as host of The Jeremy Kyle Show in 2005, the star became depressed.

“Every ounce of energy seemed gone and I couldn’t bear to leave the house, or open the curtains.

“I used to think, “Get a grip” when celebrities spoke about these kinds of problems. I realized that you can’t always do this, and I didn’t think they would affect me as much as they did.

Prior to the cancellation of the show Kyle had already experienced a series professional and personal setbacks.

He was diagnosed with testicular carcinoma in 2012, and a year later, he lost his US version.

He had also divorced his wife Carla in 2016 and was often questioned by guests.

Jeremy has a daughter Harriet, 30 years old, with Kirsty Rowley his first wife. They were married in 1989 and divorced in 1991. Harriet made Jeremy a grandfather with the birth her child in 2018.

He later had children Alice, 17, Ava 15 and Henry 11 with his second spouse Carla. After 14 years of marriage, they divorced in 2016.

It was however, he says, his fiancée Vicky who encouraged him to see a doctor after the axing and he was diagnosed with anxiety disorder.

Kyle believes that the diagnosis is what helped him get back up and’start rebuilding things’.

Kyle, who is believed plan to return to television with a series, offered his condolences to Mr Dymond’s family. He described Dymond’s death as a “terrible tragedy”.

A construction worker, Mr Dymond, died from a morphine addiction days after he filmed his episode. He also had an underlying problem with his heart.

He applied to be on the show to prove he had not cheated on his ex — but failed a lie-detector test.
