Jermaine cools (14 years old), was repeatedly stabbed in a fight close to West Croydon station, south London.
Police have named Jermaine cools the name of a 14-year old boy killed by a knife outside a South London station train station in the midst of a brawl.
On Thursday, a Croydon schoolboy was stabbed outside West Croydon’s rail station.
London Road police officers were summoned at 6.40pm after reports that there had been a fight between a number of people.
There were no victims or suspects on the spot.
At 7.10 p.m. officers were called to South London Hospital where the teenager presented with multiple stabbing wounds to staff.
Even with all the best efforts by doctors Jermaine Cools, 14, was declared dead at the hospital after he was admitted with a life-threatening condition.
After the death of Croydon’s boy, a post-mortem examination revealed that he had suffered multiple stabbing wounds.
It marks the 27th teenage murder in Capital in 2021. This number is equal to 2017’s peak.
The Met has today identified the victim, and published photos of him as part of an appeal to find his killers.
The boy’s death has not yet been reported to police and the family of Croydon, which is his from Croydon, have not been arrested.

Detective Chief Inspector Richard Vandenbergh of the Met’s Specialist Crime units, which led the investigation, called for motorists who have dashcam footage, to contact officers.
He explained that although our investigation is making good progress, I still appeal to anybody who witnessed the fighting in the area of West Croydon station Thursday evening to get involved.
I am interested to hear from anyone who has captured any events on a dashcam. It could be crucial in assembling what occurred.
