Johnny Depp giggled as Amber Heard, the building’s doorman, described to him how Amber Heard had asked him to investigate an intrusion due to scratch marks on his front door.
Alejandro Romero stated that Heard, her friend Rocky Pennington and Heard told him that someone tried to enter his unit at the Eastern Columbia Building.
Romero stated that he was sceptical about the pre-taped video recording of his deposition. Romero said that he was four inches from the floor. The dog scratched.
He stated that he thought someone was trying to enter your unit using scratches at four inches above floor.
Depp began to laugh and the audience laughed.
Romero stated that they were scared. I was asked to inspect each room in the building. It was part of my job.
Romero could be seen at one point blowing smoke out of his nose after taking a hit with a vaping machine.
He lost patience and drove around the block, talking to Heard’s lawyer on his cellphone that was still on his dashboard.
Bredehoft was Heard’s attorney and said that it was the’most bizarre deposition’ she’d ever taken.
Judge Penney Azcarate stated, “I’ve never seen this before.”

Johnny Depp cracked up with laughter as the doorman of his building described how Amber Heard asked him to investigate an intruder due to scratches on their front door – which were caused by the dog

Romero was seen exhaling smoke from his nostrils after apparently taking a puff of a vaping device. He lost patience and drove off, talking to Heard’s lawyer on the phone on his dashboard.
Romero spoke out about his anger at being forced to confront the lawyers.
He replied, “Ugh. This is causing me to be so stressed that it makes me feel like I can’t deal with the problem any longer’.
Romero was with Heard May 25, 2016, 4 days after Heard’s final argument with Depp.
She says he attacked her in the apartment using a cell phone, but he refutes it.
Romero claimed that Heard didn’t have any cuts or bruises at the moment, even though he was three feet from her.
He was asked whether he would have seen something, considering they were so close together and that the light was excellent. His answer: “Yes, it is correct.”
Depp laughed as an annoyed Romero stated that he hadn’t checked if Heard had ‘eyelashes not even’.
The court laughed again when Romero responded to another question by saying: ‘I can’t remember what breakfast was’.
Earlier in the day, a Los Angeles police officer who attended the final argument between Depp and Heard before their divorce said she could have had a red face after ‘crying because (her) dog died.’
Tyler Hadden stated that Heard had been ‘uncooperative’ and therefore had no clue why Heard was so upset. He called 911 from her West Hollywood penthouse.
Heard said that Depp had smacked her with the mobile phone in May 2016, but she clammed up once officers arrived.
According to Officer Hadden, the ex-couple’s defamation case costing $100 million was characterized by him as only a “verbal dispute”.
Heard did not have any injuries, according to the cop. Heard also stated that Heard’s face had been reddening and she was crying.
His words were, “Just because I see a woman with pink cheeks or pink eyes does not mean that something has happened.”
Officer Hadden stated that red faces could indicate someone who started crying after their dog died.
Heard’s injuries on that evening are important to this case. She filed for divorce a week later and got a restraining or against Depp. Depp was accused of domestic violence.
A large bruise appeared on her right cheek when she arrived at court. This picture was taken and entered in the court file.

Los Angeles cop officer, Amber Heard and Johnny Depp had their final argument on May 16, 2016. She said Amber Heard could have made a face for it after she cried because her dog was dead.

Hadden stated that Heard wasn’t cooperative and that he didn’t know why she was so upset after calling 911 from her West Hollywood penthouse.
William Gatlin from the LAPD told the court that Heard was there with a friend at 10:24 pm that night.
According to Heard, a friend had called New York Police Department about Heard’s incident and wanted them to come back to her to verify.
Court was shown footage taken by officer Gatlin from his body camera, which shows them walking into the building and down the corridor towards the penthouse.
Josh Drew, Heard’s friend, answered the door. He attempted to persuade officers to get out by telling them about other cops who had just come through. However they insist on getting in.
Officer Gatlin acknowledged Drew’s incooperation.
Heard confirmed that she was okay, as the footage captured.
Drew stated that Depp wasn’t there and was gone for some time before the officers returned.
Officer Gatlin stated that nobody seemed particularly interested in talking to them when they entered the building.
Heard’s face was covered with bruises, the cop stated.
According to the LAPD investigation, Heard wasn’t a victim domestic violence.
“Based on her refusal to make any statement about the incident and at that time, we didn’t observe any visible injuries or verifiable harm to her,” he said.
Officer Gatlin stated that he wasn’t in a position to tell Depp if he beat up Heard because he wasn’t there at the time.
Officer Gatlin was questioned by media about Heard’s claims that Adam Waldman, Heard’s ex-lawyer, had claimed in interviews that Heard and his friends were “attempting to fabricate an abuse hoax.”
He said that he had never seen anything similar.
Officer Gatlin asked Heard, her friends, if they had been’spilling alcohol and roughing up the place?’
He answered that he had not.
Bredehoft was laughing when he asked an officer about Depp’s fandom at the time they were visiting the property.
Officer Gatlin stated that he liked “a few of his movies”, and did not hurry to go see them all.

William Gatlin, an LAPD officer, told the court that Heard and another colleague took him to Heard’s again that evening at 10.24pm.

Court was shown footage taken by officer Gatlin from his body camera. It showed the officers entering the building, and then walking down the corridor towards the penthouse.

Josh Drew, Heard’s friend answered the door. He tried to convince the officers to go away by telling them other cops were already there. But they refused.

Officer Gatlin stated that nobody seemed particularly interested in talking to them when they entered the building. He said that Heard didn’t appear to have any facial bruises because of the dim lighting.
Officer Melissa Saenz appeared via a pre-taped video deposition on Tuesday. Depp and Heard visited the penthouse apartment they shared in May 21 2016.
Elaine Bredehoft’s lawyer for Heard, Saenz asked her about the incident and said that she didn’t identify Saenz as a victim to domestic violence. She also stated that there was no evidence, such as broken glass or mess, of any crime.
Depp had just finished their argument before Heard filed for a divorce. She also sought a restraining or temporary order a week later.
Heard, in a request for a restraining warrant, claimed Depp struck her with a cellphone during the encounter. She left her with bruises on her right side.
Heard also included an image showing the bruise in the court record.
Bredehoft showed the photo photo of Amber’s face to Saenz and asked ,’Do you perceive there to be an injury or evidence of injury on amber’s face in this photo?’
Saenz responded, ‘No I do not.’
Bredehoft asked: “What do you think of the redness in the cheek, eyelids and eyebrow?”
Saenz replied, “It’s consistent with her crying, she’s fair skin, and her face is flushed.”
Bredehoft asked, ‘You don’t think it’s consistent with a cell phone being thrown at her?’
Saenz said, “Correct. It does not appear like an injury due to a cell-phone.” You can see that someone is crying.
Bredehoft asked, ‘If you saw any signs of injury on Amber Heard or even just damage to the property, would you have been duty bound to make a report?’
‘Correct.’
Bredehoft posed the question, “Now, your memory is that there were damages to the flat. I searched the entire apartment and saw no damage or broken glass. Would you accept this?”
‘Correct’
Bredehoft posed the question, “When did you get back to the elevator? Was there anything that you remembered thinking?”
Saenz replied, “I recall being impressed by that penthouse. It was so big and beautiful.

Officer Melissa Saenz appeared via a pre-taped video deposition on Tuesday. Depp asked Saenz about their visit to the penthouse shared by Heard and Depp on May 21, 2016.

Amber Heard was photographed in these photos with her apparently bruised cheek. Saenz stated that Amber Heard was not a domestic violence victim and added that there wasn’t any evidence she saw of a crime.

Bredehoft also asked: ‘When did you get back to the elevator, was there anything you were thinking about? Saenz answered, ‘I was impressed by the penthouse. How big and gorgeous it was. The penthouse that Depp built in Los Angeles is shown here
Her testimony followed Shannon Curry is the expert witness. Heard was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder by a forensic psychologist.
Dr. Curry claimed that Depp’s attorneys initially employed her to look at files during the legal battle between their feuding ex-partners, and determine if there was any behavior that might be compatible with “intimate partner violence”.
However, the psychology expert revealed that her position would change several months later, in October when she was requested to perform a psychological assessment of Heard (36).
Curry explained to the court, “The results from Ms. Heard’s evaluation supported two diagnosis: Borderline Personality Disorder(BPD) or Histrionic Personality Disorders (HPD).”
According to her, Heard lied about her post-traumatic stress disorder after she had a relationship with Depp. She said that Depp was no longer ‘idealized.’
Dr. Curry said that Heard’s BPD was characterized by an underlying fear of abandonment and people with this condition are prone to making desperate attempts to stop it from occurring.
She said that these could include’very extreme behavior’.
Curry said that Heard’s disorders can make someone like him seem charming in the beginning of a relationship or friendship, but then could become a troubled person.
