Katie Price said that her 2009 split with Peter Andre, her ex-husband, had a huge impact on Harvey.
The former glamour model, 43, opened up in her emotional memoir that the teenager- who has Prader-Willi Syndrome, autism and blindness- refuses to meet with Peter.
She admitted in her new book Katie Price: Harvey and Me that ‘even mentioning Pete’s name to Harvey stresses him out.’

Harvey was very close to Peter, and he helped Harvey to raise him during their four-year marriage.
Harvey wrote that the split from Pete was very disappointing. He couldn’t even express how he felt at the time.
“But now, he can and knows a lot more than what you might think. It’s truly sad.
Katie claimed that Harvey’s visits to Peter ‘fizzled out’ because Harvey refused to see her ex.

She continued: ‘I began noticing a change in Harvey. I’d say somethings like, ‘Does Daddy Peter want to go to see you today?’ He’d shout, “No!” And he’d shout, ‘No!’
“But he wasn’t interested and would start kicking off. It was probably because the visits were beginning to fizzle out, and Harvey could sense it.
“Even mentioning Pete’s Name to Harvey stresses him out.
Harvey mentioned that he would like to play the clip of Peter and Harvey singing A Whole New World whenever he sees him.

The couple, who were parents to Junior, 16, & Princess, 14, split in 2009. Peter married Emily again and has now welcomed two more children, Amelia, 7, and Theo, 5.
Katie has been opening up on life with Harvey in the book and also touched on the teenager’s biological dad Dwight Yorke- who abandoned him as a baby.
She claimed Dwight had ‘disowned’ their son over dinner at dinner in 2012.
The star and the former premier league footballer, 49, briefly had a romance in 2001, and broke up soon after Katie fell pregnant with her eldest child.

She recounts how Harvey refused Dwight’s request to see Harvey over a meal in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, in her new book.
Katie wrote in her book, serialised in The Mirror: ‘I walked over to him and he didn’t really say much – it was so awkward. He had not even bought me a drink. That was Dwight.
She claimed that he told her after she arrived that he didn’t want to see them again.
She wrote: ‘Even after the fact that he said that to me, I was still trying persistently. Harvey should have his dad in his world, but he wasn’t interested in any of that. “This isn’t all about me. This is your son, and your flesh and your blood.
‘But he just didn’t give a s**t. There’s only so much you can try before you realise you’re flogging a dead horse. I got up and went, and that was the last time I saw him. I haven’t heard from him since.
Back in the day. Katie and Harvey had briefly dated in 2001. However, their relationship ended soon after Katie became pregnant with their eldest child.

Dwight previously lambasted Katie in Born To Score, 2009, after he claimed that Katie had not allowed him to see Harvey.
He wrote, “From the moment that I first laid eyes on Harvey, I have loved him like I could not have imagined possible.” I won’t say anymore that Harvey wasn’t loved, that I didn’t understand his needs or that he was not my concern.
The book excerpt was written by Katie after she had been in rehab for a drink-and drug-related crash.

Katie is now facing jail after pleading guilty for a series of motoring offenses. She has checked into The Priory rehabilitation center to treat her alcohol and drug problems.
After she left her home to allegedly search for drugs during an all night alcohol and cocaine binge, the star crashed her BMW.
She was then charged with driving while disqualified, drink-driving, and driving without insurance at Crawley Magistrates Court.
After being charged with driving while impaired, driving in public places without insurance, and driving while disqualified, she could face imprisonment.
Katie was informed by her probation officer that her sentencing has been delayed for 11 weeks to December 15. This will allow Katie to attend The Priory and speak with the probation service.

Julie Hutton, Chair of the Bench, said she could leave but cautioned her against driving during the interim. He added: “You are free to go. Good luck at the Priory.”
The crash occurred after police were called Katie’s Essex residence at 1.30am on August 23rd. A man was taken into custody on suspicion for assault, theft, coercive behaviour and controlling behavior.
Katie was taken to the hospital with bruises on her face and a broken lip.
Katie said that she was attacked while she was watching TV and had to flee in terror to Harvey’s home nearby.
Katie reportedly told her friends in August that she couldn’t face the prospect of appearing in court.
According to Sun sources, friends of the mother of five told the Sun that she is reportedly’mentally fragile’. They also said that she ‘cannot face’ a court appearance.
