Here’s the touching moment when an accountant sings a hymn to his grand piano, which he had left behind after his house was damaged by a tornado.

Jordan Baize, 34, sat down at the instrument where his living room used to be after the deadly storm knocked down the walls and roof, leaving him surrounded by wreckage in the somber scene in Bremen, Kentucky.

Whitney Brown (32), captured footage of Jordan playing at the piano the Christian hymn “There’s Something About That Name” amid all the destruction.

Whitney was visiting her brother to salvage any items and was sorting through clothing when Whitney heard the songs after the tornado hit the city.

Jordan has been playing piano for 25-years. She didn’t realize she was recording the moment and it has become a viral video.

He told the Wall Street Journal: ‘I’m not the kind that loves to seek the spotlight, but I guess looking back now, I’m glad it happened.

“I am glad so many people were touched. It was an honest, sincere moment. It was a blessed moment if it brought hope and peace to others.

You can see the damage done to the exterior walls of the house, with broken glass everywhere and couches ripped apart, along with exposed rafters.

Whitney Brown took footage of Jordan playing The Christian hymn There’s Nothing About that Name in the midst of the destruction.

Jordan chose the hymn to sing, even though he knew it would be his last chance at playing the piano. He said that his little kingdom of 13 acres had been destroyed. Christ, however, is still the centre of all it.

Whitney co-owns the sawmill along with her husband. Thank God, we are safe.

“My brother Jordan lost his home, but he and his family managed to escape safely.

“I heard the most wonderful sound while I was packing everything I could in my bedroom.”

“Everything was destroyed around him.”

The piano suffered water damage and had keys that were missing. He didn’t realize I was filming but he made use of his gift to praise God the best he could. His God-given gift is yours to enjoy.

Whitney and Jordan returned to Kentucky just days after they visited Disney World in Florida, where their kids and parents were.

He invited his ex-wife, and her husband, to his home to take shelter in his basement. This was just seconds before the tornado struck the house.

For 30 seconds they were huddled under a blanket as the sounds of chaos rang above.

They found the house in complete ruin when they got out.

Jordan currently lives in the bedroom of the home where he grew up and hopes to renovate the 13-acre land that has been his family’s property for generations.

However, the future of the piano is not certain because the water keeps taking its toll.

It comes as President Biden flies to western Kentucky this morning to see for himself the devastation caused by dozens of tornadoes.

After more than 30 tornadoes that ravaged four states on Tuesday, thousands of residents were still without heat and water Wednesday morning.

In four states, they killed at least88 people during a weekend full of destruction and carnage.

Biden will visit Fort Campbell to get a briefing about storms, rescue efforts and then travel to Mayfield or Dawson Springs to assess storm damage.

Biden won’t be giving an address. Jen Psaki, White House Press Secretary, said that Biden would visit victims and officials affected by the storms.

There are more than 100 missing people and this death toll will rise.
