Two people were charged today with murder in the case of a four week-old baby who died.
Young Ollie was found unresponsive in his bed at his Leicester home on October 21, 2017.
Police opened an investigation into the death at the property in Upper Temple Walk Beaumont Leys of the four-weekold baby.
Now, Kayleigh Driver (29), and Michael Davis (27), both from Carlisle Street, Leicester, are being charged with murder by Leicestershire Police.
They are both due to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday afternoon.

Leicestershire Police state that they will face murder charges against a victim aged under one on October 21, 2017 as well as causing or allowing death of a child in the period October 9-21 2017.
They also have to face one count of causing grievous body harm with intent between October 9, 2017 and October 18, 2017. One count of causing grievous bodily injury with intent between October 9th and October 21st 2017.
Police also charged them with one count each of causing or allowing a minor to suffer severe physical harm between October 9th, 2017 and October 21, 2017.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police stated that two people were charged with murder in 2017 following the death of a four-week old baby.
‘Kayleigh Driver, 29, and Michael Davis, 27, both of Carlisle Street, Leicester, will appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court at 12pm today (Monday 25 October) charged with five offences.
The charges are related to the death and unresponsiveness of baby Ollie, who was found in his cot in the morning of 21 October 2017 at the then-home address in Upper Temple Walk Beaumont Leys.
“The two individuals were arrested on the 27th of October 2017. A complex investigation has been conducted since then.
