Marilyn Manson has denied shocking allegations from his ex-girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood, after she claimed he ‘essentially raped’ her during a music video shoot, urged her to carve his initial into her pelvis, and decorated their home with Nazi propaganda knowing that she is Jewish.
Wood, 34, began her tumultuous relationship with 53-year-old Manson, real name Brian Warner, when she was just 18 — and she has since accused her of grooming her and abusing her.
The actress goes into more depth about the experience in Amy Berg’s new documentary ‘Phoenix Rising – Part I: Don’t Fall,’ which premiered on Sunday at the Sundance Film Festival and will air on HBO in March.
Manson’s attorneys on Monday stated that Wood’s claims of raping her were “brazen” and could be easily disproved.
Howard King, his lawyer said that of all the lies Evan Rachel Wood made about Brian Warner’s character, the imaginative version of Brian Warner’s making of the “Heart-Shaped Glasses” music video from 15 years ago was the most outrageous and easy to prove, as there were many witnesses.

Woods also indicated that Manson had raped her when she was just 19 years old while Woods made the 2007 music video “Heart-Shaped Glasses”.
Evan was engaged and coherent throughout the entire three-day shoot. He also participated heavily in pre-production planning for weeks, and post-production editing.
“The simulated sex scene was shot over several hours using multiple angles, several long breaks and many camera settings.
She claims that Brian did not have sex in public with Evan during that shoot, which she also knows is true.
Wood made other accusations that King didn’t address.
She claims that Manson emotionally and physically abused her over their 4-and-a-half year relationship. He also threatened her life and sexually assaulted and separated her family and friends.

Wood at 2017 Emmy Awards. From 2007 to 2011, she was in Manson’s company.
Wood tells the story of growing up in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was raised to do what is right, even when it hurt, USA Today reports.
One case was that she had sex with a man aged 23 on the set of the movie ‘Thirteen’ when she was 14.
It was something I didn’t want to do, though. But it was something that I understood the character had to. She says that it had to be done.
She continued to be a lost and insecure teenager, which she says made her a prime target for someone like Manson.
She says, “I wasn’t sure where to go so I was the ideal candidate to come up and ask, “Come with us.”
He was 37 and she was 18 when the pair first met.
At the time, Manson was married to Dita von Teese, and Wood had a boyfriend — but Manson struck up a conversation with her and shared an interest in working with her.
It was under the guise of this professional relationship — Manson told Wood he wanted her to be in a film he was working on — that she went to his house one night and they drank absinthe.
He suddenly kissed her and’stuck my tongue down mine throat… All went white, and I didn’t know what to do.
Things got worse and eventually he climbed on top of my head. After that, I was left feeling really strange and very unwell. I was never attracted to him.
The two eventually got together and she recounts that he gave her odd compliments along with insults and threats to violence.
Other oddities were also said by him, such as ‘I am your vampire’, ‘You are my blood’, and ‘I want you to be with me forever.
She claims that he began to isolate her from her family and friends over time.
According to the Daily Beast: “He studied this,” Wood’s mother Sara Lynn Moore stated. He’s learned how to manipulate others. He’s a predator — he’s a predator.’
Wood claims that they both carved their initials into each other at one time.
“Scarification was part of it,” she said. He carved an E. [into his skin] and I carved an M … as a way to show ownership and loyalty. It was carved right beside my vagina, to prove that I owned it.
Manson also began showing an interested in Nazis — knowing full well that Wood herself is Jewish.
Wood has previously spoken out about Manson’s tattoo that he got in their relationship. It features four Ms made of the form of a swastika. Manson is seen in 2012 sporting the tattoo.
“At one point, he wrote on the side of the bed I slept on, ‘kill all Jews’, she stated.
Instagram: She spoke out about “humiliation”, “blackmail,” and being given “large amounts” of drug and alcohol when she was 21.
She says he would paint and fill his work with swastikas and other Nazi propaganda, which he also put around their home.
She said that he had written ‘kill all Jews’ at one time, on the wall of my bedroom, where I was sleeping.
She was also informed by him that Hitler was the ‘first rock star’ because Hitler was stylish and well-spoken. He also knew how manipulating masses was possible.
He made fun at her Jewishness and made fun when she was upset over his antisemitism.
Wood spoke about his antisemitism in the past and posted on Instagram how he “would draw swastikas above my bedside table when I was mad at him.”
‘Because [my mom]Converted and not of Jewish descent [sic]He’d say things like “That’s more” since I wasn’t “blood Jewish” at the time.
She also revealed that during the course of their relationship, he got new tattoos, including a swastika on his chest and a skull and bones on his arm that looks like a Totenkopf, another Nazi symbol.
Woods shares that Manson also raped Woods when she was 19 years old, as shown in the documentary.
Her participation in the video’s music was voluntary. “Heart-Shaped glasses” did not work out as planned.
She said, “That was when I was first raped and it was on video,” (photo taken together in 2007).
He began penetrating my body after the cameras had started rolling. She claims that she had not agreed to this, as reported by Pitchfork.
“I am a professional actor, and I have done this for my entire life. I had never seen a stage so unprofessional in my entire life. The set was chaotic and made me feel unsafe. There was no one to look after me.
“It was really difficult filming this video. I didn’t know how to advocate for myself or know how to say no because I had been conditioned and trained to never talk back — to just soldier through.
‘I felt disgusting, as if I’d done something embarrassing. And I could see that everybody was feeling uncomfortable. Under false pretenses, I was forced into performing sex commercials.
She continued, “That’s when my first crime was committed against and I was basically raped on video,” adding that that’s ‘just the beginning’ of the violence that would escalate throughout the rest of her relationship.
Woods kept the abuse to herself until 2016, when she publicly spoke about it for the first time — though she did not name her abuser.
Other women, however, seemed to have the same idea and were able reach out with similar stories.
It was like learning that you were dating a serial murderer, she said.
Woods spoke out for the first time about being abused in 2016, but she didn’t identify her abuser until this year.
After she started filming the documentary in 2020, and publicly identified him as her abuser in February 2021.
“I can’t recall what it felt like not to be afraid.” She said, “I’ll never be the same.”
“I am still afraid to publicly name Brian. It’s my only desire to name Brian. I’ve received numerous threats to my face, telling me not to speak. People know my location.
Brian made it very clear to me that if I said any thing, he would go after me. He once told me he would f*** up my whole family from the bottom up and he would start with my dad. “I have a son and it is really frightening.
She added: “This is not about revenge or, “He’s an evil monster that must be punished and destroyed.” He is already dead. This man isn’t a man any more; he has been destroyed.
Since Wood first spoke out, multiple allegations have gone out against Manson, resulting in criminal investigations. Agents and the record label dropped Manson.
Manson’s lawyers responded to the film by saying they’vehemently denial any and all claims regarding sexual assault or abuse.
‘These lurid claims against my client have three things in common — they are all false, alleged to have taken place more than a decade ago and part of a coordinated attack by former partners and associates of Mr. Warner who have weaponized the otherwise mundane details of his personal life and their consensual relationships into fabricated horror stories,’ reads the statement, which was issued in November.
Wood stated that Manson was her abuser in her last year’s statement. As a teenager, he began to groom me and abused me throughout my teenage years.
“I was brainwashed into submission. I’m done with living in fear for retribution, slander or blackmail. Before he wrecks any lives more, I will expose the dangerous man and highlight the industries that helped him.
“I stand with many victims who won’t be silent.”
She also posted screenshots of tweets written by Dan Cleary, Manson’s former assistant in December 2020, who said that Wood knew him when she was living with Manson, and he believed he had ‘broken’ her by then.
Around the same time that she came forward, four other women — Ashley Walters, Sarah McNeilly, Ashley Lindsay Morgan and a woman who gave her name only as Gabriella — posted similar statements on Instagram.
They described a series of traumatic experiences, including sexual assault and psychological abuse.
The list of people being accused grew. Game of Thrones star Esme Bianco said he would tell her he wanted to ‘murder other women’ and ‘sneak down to the room where I was sleeping and rape me’ in text messages,’ among other allegations.
