Marjorie Taylor Greene (controversial US Representative) has her Twitter account suspended permanently for misinformation about COVID.

The Georgia GOP rep’s account – @mtgreenee – was axed Sunday, CNN reported. Her final tweets were collected by other users on Twitter and show her being critical of government policy regarding COVID.

Greene, who is also known for espousing QAnon conspiracy theories, still has access to her work account, @RepMTG, where she last posted December 19.

Greene’s fifth strike is now over. In August, he was banned for saying vaccines were failing to control the spread COVID. The FDA should not have allowed them. One to three strikes will result in an account lock for 12 hours. Four strikes are grounds for a suspension of one week. A strike that is more than five can lead to someone being permanently banned from Twitter.

A Twitter spokesperson said: ‘We permanently suspended @mtrgreene for repeated violations of our COVID-19 misinformation policy. We’ve been clear that, per our strike system for this policy, we will permanently suspend accounts for repeated violations of the policy.’

In a statement released by her office, Greene said she was suspended for sharing a tweet about Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, a self-reporting tool for vaccine side effects managed by the Centers for Disease Control and the Food and Drug Administration.

‘Twitter is an enemy to America and can’t handle the truth. That’s fine, I’ll show America we don’t need them and it’s time to defeat our enemies,’ Greene said in a statement shared by her communications director Nick Dyer.

But her official work account remains live. She has not tweeted from it since December 19

However, her official account for work remains active. It has been inactive since December 19.

This compilation of Greene's final tweets railing against COVID measures appear to be what earned her her fifth strike and permanent ban from Twitter

This collection of Greene’s last tweets against COVID seems to have earned her her fifth strike, and a permanent ban from Twitter

The exact reason for Greene’s last Twitter suspension is not known. This comes nearly a year after Donald Trump was temporarily suspended after the Jan 6th riot.

Officials from the government have raised concerns about VAERS. This allows people to report side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Side effects and deaths reported on VAERS don’t prove the vaccine was responsible for these adverse outcomes.

Greene (47), compared COVID and cancer last month in four tweet threads calling on Americans to adopt a more relaxed attitude towards the virus.

“Every year, more than 600,000. Americans die of cancer. An estimated 608,570 Americans will be killed by cancer in 2021. It has never been closed down. One school has not been closed.

“Over 600,000.00 will still die each year from cancer, regardless of their age or race.

‘Since #COVID19 began tracking, 780,000+ people in the US have died within 22 weeks, but over 1 million continue to die of cancer.

‘More have died in 2021 from covid than 2020 in spite of Gov mandated widespread vaccines, mass public masking, & trillions spent.

‘Covid predominately targets oatbese & older people.’ Greene went on to insist that  ‘it’s time to take a different approach based on the facts’ and ‘stop the politically driven mass hysteria.’

Greene, 47, has faced repeated criticism over her use of social media to spread misinformation

Greene (47) has come under fire for using social media to spread misinformation.

Greene tweeted in August that the FDA should not approve the COVID vaccines because there were 'too many reports' of breakthrough cases. Twitter marked the tweet misleading and blocked users from interacting with it

Twitter has a five-strike policy for users who spread COVID-19 misinformation. The latest strike appears to have been her last

Twitter’s policy allows users to spread COVID-19 misinformation with five strikes. Her latest strike seems to be her final.

Greene also took aim at Dr Anthony Fauci (White House COVID tsar), and shared photos of her wearing a mask with the words “Fire Fauci.”

Twitter spokeswoman for the account after it was closed in August 2021. She stated that her account would be read-only until further notice due to “repeated violations” of Twitter’s rules.

According to the Arizona Republic, any violation of its COVID guidelines more than five times can result in a permanent ban.

She called the conspiracy theory QAnon that was born online in 2017 a “once-in-a lifetime chance to drive out this global cabal Satan worshiping pedophiles,” according to The Tampa Bay Times.

She stated in a speech to the House floor in February 2021 that she had stopped believing in conspiracy theories after she discovered’misinformation and lies’ about QAnon posts.

On Sunday, the congresswoman for the first term pointed finger at her fellow Congresswoman, suggesting that Twitter is using a double standard.

‘Maxine waters can threaten violence in the streets, Kamala, Ilhan and CNN can bail out Black Lives Matter terrors on Twitter. CNN can spread Russia collusion lies and yesterday, the chief spokesman of terrorist IRGC could tweet to mourn Soleimani. But I am suspended because I tweeted VAERS statistics’, she stated.

Tucker Carlson is a conservative commentator who often quotes statistics from the selfreporting side effect database to undermine the efficacy of vaccines.

Last week, Greene criticized the national College Republicans group for tweeting out a message wishing people a Happy Kwanzaa

Greene added: ‘Social media platforms can’t stop the truth from being spread far and wide. Big Tech can’t stop the truth. Communist Democrats can’t stop the truth.

“I stand with truth and people” We can overcome it!

Every year, the secular celebration of African American culture takes place from December 26 through January 1.

‘Stop. Greene replied on Twitter that it was a “fake religion” created by psychopaths. “You don’t bring in new voters. You are turning away existing ones.” They are fed up with BS and pandering.
