Mark Wright shared his story about how he needed to remove a 12-cm tumor from his armpit after a recent battle with cancer.

On Wednesday, the TV host, who is 34 years old, posted on Instagram to describe how he felt concerned after a lump began growing in his armpit. He had previously been assured that it wasn’t a “fatty lump” and needed no treatment.

Mark revealed that it was benign. However, doctors told him later that it was cancerous. They decided to take it out of his armpit.

Mark shared his experience with others after he had the tumor removed. He hoped to encourage other people to check their lumps.

Mark, who shared a picture of the lump in his arm, an image of himself in a hospital gown and the mass once it had been removed, wrote: ‘Ok, it’s been a tough call whether or not to speak about this.

‘One part of me wants to keep something like this private and the other part is thinking, if I can help/potentially save 1 person, well…. It is right to do this.

“So, here it goes. It was a small lump that I found under my armpits. It wasn’t very large but it is enough to raise concern.

‘I saw a doctor who passed it on as “a fatty lump that doesn’t need any treatment” so I just left it.

“After some time, the lump started to bother me. In general I’m a person who leaves no stone unturned when it comes life. The idiom triples when it concerns health.

‘He thought it was a LIPOMA, a BENIGN soft tumour. However, it was quite large and he was a little concerned that it might become a SARCOMA (a tumor that is malignant). I was more certain that the MRI was accurate.

“Despite getting the MRI result, this specialist didn’t think it was possible to rule out the worse because of the rate and size of growth. This was the point at which I decided to consult a SARCOMA specialist.

“This specialist reviewed my scans about 10 days ago, and I saw him today to have this tiny git taken out.

“His quick and amazing turnaround was because he didn’t want it to go any further and wanted to keep it open to avoid the uncommon risk that a LIPOMA would become a sarcoma over time.

What is a BENIGN BRAIN Tumor? WHAT IS A BENIGN BRAIN TUMOR? AND HOW DO YOU LIVE WITH IT.

A benign brain tumor is an accumulation of healthy cells in the brain that has a slow growth rate.

Brain tumours that are not cancerous tend to remain in the same place.

It is possible to remove the entire tumour in one operation.

It can also grow back if it is not taken care of.

Although brain tumors are slow growing, they take up a lot of space in the skull.

The mass may grow over time and press against surrounding nerves.

If the tumor is not growing rapidly, treatment may be unnecessary.

Also, surgery can cause nerve damage around the tumour and increase the risk for stroke or swelling.

Radiation treatment such as Gamma Knife can provide controlled radiation doses that target hard to reach tumours, but without damaging surrounding tissue.

“He couldn’t 100% confirm that the MRI showed this to be a benign cancer and nothing more serious.

“The tumour will now be sent to further testing in order to confirm its existence, but the top doctor has proven that we’ve done our job well and have nothing to fear. So I’m all good.

After nine months of being together, Mark and Michele were engaged in September 2013. They got married in Bury St. Edmonds on May 2015.

Michelle was busy marketing the new series of Brassic. She appeared on The One Show last week to discuss the series with host Chris.

The couple, who are estimated to have a net worth of £12million, have been documenting the construction process after purchasing the original property for £1.3million in October 2019.

Even though there were months of delays because the Covid pandemic was raging, their 5-bedroom home is now beginning to look like their architectural design.

Construction has been halted due to Covid restrictions and lockdowns. After they destroyed a farmhouse, they began construction on a 5-bedroom home with a bar, gym and granny annexe.

They were granted planning permission for their massive building project in January 2020. It will take them over two years to move in.

Construction experts have estimated the demolition and rebuild of the home will cost around £3.5million.
