It is not the first time McDonald’s has had shortages and supply chain issues.
Customers were disappointed by a UK shortage in chicken selects in June.
The supply chain crisis has created chaos with shortages on UK supermarket shelves, delayed deliveries, and higher prices.
Other companies, such as Nandos and Ikea, have also reported supply chain problems.
It is partly due to the UK’s economy recovering faster than supply.

Supply chain problems can also be caused by staff shortages. Brexit, Covid, and other economic conditions are also contributing factors.
The UK’s food supply chain is currently experiencing a shortage of approximately half a billion people, which represents 12.5% of the total workforce.
The crisis has also impacted the haulage industry, with the government promising to recruit thousands of lorry drivers over the Christmas period.
Panic buying was triggered by a shortage of drivers, which caused fuel deliveries to be delayed.
This led to petrol shortages throughout the UK as panic-buying drove people to buy the fuel.

They have temporarily removed the item from the menu while they address the problem.
A spokesman for McDonald’s said: ‘Like most retailers, we are currently experiencing some supply chain issues. This is affecting the availability of Chicken Legend, so we have decided to remove this product from our delivery menu in the UK and Ireland. Restaurants can still purchase the product. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank all our customers for their patience. We are working to return the item to your delivery menu as soon possible.
