This is the moment when a Poundland security officer shouted at a woman, demanding that she take off her hood.
Video footage from the incident at the Notting Hill store on Portobello Road, west London, went viral last week. It shows shocked customers intervening to push back the security guard.
The woman may have been wearing a hood under her hijab.
The footage was shared via Facebook with the caption: “My sister went to Poundland in Portobello Road together with her friend.
“As they entered the store, the security guard aggressively ordered her friend take off the hood.
“He became more aggressive and grabbed her phone from her hand as she was about filming his tantrum.
“Fortunately, her friend captured his disgusting behavior on her phone as you can see in the footage.
The video begins with security saying to the woman, “You are not supposed take a picture like that.”

After demanding that she take off her hood, a security guard at Poundland’s in Notting Hill, west London, shouted at a woman.

The security guard realized he was being filmed and reacted angrily, and began filming the incident.

The guard was wearing a black zip-up jacket with a red tie, and looked furious at customers who tried to hold him back.
Angrily, the guard adds: “I said no hoods.”
He becomes more agitated and shouts loudly, “That’s all that I said!” As he moves closer to the woman, he asks her if she understands.
Then he yells: ‘I don’t give a f*** who you are!
Customers try to calm down the security officer and get him off the woman.

Other customers in Notting Hill Poundland were able to push the security guard away form the women
The man then looks at the other woman filming the tirade and begins filming her.
As he walks towards her, he can be heard holding his phone high and saying, “You wanna take a photo too yes, let’s play that too innit.”
The footage ends when shoppers intervene to take the man down the aisle and hand him over to the women.

Poundland spokesperson stated that the security guard was not an employee of Poundland.
“His behavior is unacceptable and it goes with the territory that he is not welcome in any of the stores.
“Nevertheless, we were in touch earlier in the week with his employer to clarify our views.”
