Following the gay conversion of one of her sons, Britain’s most powerful family mother shared her pride.
Sue Radford (46), who lives with her husband Noel, and 19 of their 22 kids in Morecambe. She said that she knew what to expect when Luke, 21 years old, decided to visit her.
Next week, Luke will discuss his sexuality and his relationship with his mother on Channel 5’s 22 Kids and Counting. This documentary about family life is a fly-on the wall series.
Sue told the Sun that the episode was emotional and powerful. However, it could help other parents going through similar situations.

“When he spoke to me, i told him that I already knew. As a mum you just know, but you can’t force them to come out. He did this with great pride.
Luke shared his first bisexuality declaration in August with 13,400 of his Instagram followers in an extensive post.
The post revealed that he had begun questioning his sexuality as a teenager.
“At 20 years old, I came to terms with my true self. I’m bisexual. That’s me. My core. He continued, “My core is what makes me function as I do.”
“This blog will allow me to feel more at ease with myself and help me get to the place I want to be mentally.
‘To all those who support us I can’t thank you enough and to all those who look down on us, I wish your ignorance clears soon,’ he added.

Luke was born bisexual and came to know his gender in August 2021. He attended the first Pride event together with Sue, his two siblings.

According to the 21-year old, he was happy when he attended his first Pride in July. In an emotional episode next week of the show, he discusses his sexuality.
With 4,349 likes, his admission was met with warm reception on the platform. Many thanked the 21-yearold for speaking out publicly.
Luke announced via social media that he had attended the Pride festival this summer with Sue, his mother, and one sibling.
Donning a pink, blue and orange camo shirt and a rainbow flag on his cheek, he Radford proudly held a ‘Born this Way’ flag with his mother, who was wearing a ‘Love is Love’ t-shirt and brought her youngest daughter Heidi, who is known 18 months, to the event with her.
Luke captioned Luke’s snaps with the words: “Felt Welcome.” Felt Accepted. Felt Right.’
22 Kids and counting returned to television last night with Sue and Noel contemplating whether they might ever have another child.

Noel says, “I have mixed feelings.” “It is a pleasant feeling to imagine Heidi as the last. It’s okay to just go on and enjoy life, content with the 22 children we have.
“But then, you have other feelings. You’re not going to feel that same feeling again when a baby is living in your home. You just don’t know what you might get.
Even though Sue and Noel have assured that they wouldn’t have another child, the children remain skeptical. James (18) points out that his parents said similar statements in the past, only for them to have more children.
Noel also reveals that his family’s bakery has seen a boom in take-out orders due to an increase in their customer base.
Noel’s pie shop helped them fund their family and the couple do not depend on welfare benefits.
Sue and Noel (50) are the parents of Chris, Sophie, 27 and Jack, 26, Jack and Daniel, 22 and 21, respectively, as well as Katie, 19 and 20, and Tillie and Tillie.

Sue, 46; Noel 52. They have two children, Jack, 22, Daniel, 21, Luke 20, Millie 19, Katie, 18 and Tillie at 10. Oscar, 9, Casper, 8, Hallie (five), Phoebe (5), Archie (33) Bonnie (22) and Heidie (10 months) all under the same roof. Chris, 31 and Sophie, 27 are the oldest children.
Alfie, Alfie’s 17th baby was unfortunately still alive on July 6, 2014.
Olivia, one the couple’s grand-daughters, stays at their house with the rest of the family, while Chris, Sophie, and Chloe have left.
Sue and Noel bought their house in 2004 for £240,000.
The former 10-bed care home has 22 children. They have completed a variety of DIY projects over the years to improve the house as their siblings get older and move into different rooms.
Family that first gained fame with 15 Kids and Counting (2014), most recently starred on Channel 5’s 22 Kids and Counting.
The couple estimated they had spent £1 million on their brood before the birth of their 22nd child Heidi, whom they said could be their last.
