Jeff was a storeman for the NHS at Ipswich Hospital, when he had his stroke.

Karen from Ipswich (Suffolk) said earlier in the year that Jeff spent a month in hospital while he was recovering.

Karen was lucky enough to win the lottery, and she is now able quit her job to ensure that her 15 year-old son’s future is secure.

According to the former supervisor at the playground, she was given money by her father during previous Christmas celebrations. This helped her buy Callum his Christmas presents when Jeff died in 2018.

After their huge win, they were also able swap their 2-bed rental property to a 5-bed bungalow.

Karen now looks to the future and plans to go on vacation to Portugal with her family. Her son is not yet able to fly, so she wants to make lasting memories.
