Petra Ecclestone and her fiancé Sam Palmer are homeschooling their children.
The Formula One heiress, 32, and the aspiring real estate agent and businessman, 38, who live in Los Angeles, have decided to teach their kids at home, after the latter revealed his disdain for ‘woke stupidity’ on many curriculums.
The couple have a daughter Millie (18 months), while Petra shares Lavinia, nine-month-old, and twins James Robert Fredrick Jr. (six years) with ex James Stunt. Despite Petra’s turbulent relationship with James, the children still call Sam “dad”.
Sam took to Instagram earlier this year to document their arrangement. We have teachers. There are also coaches for sport. It was something I was initially against, but I now love it. We get to spend more quality time together as a family.

He explained that the children get to decide what is being taught. It won’t include woke stupidity as I’ve seen at some schools’.
Petra, whose net worth is over £200 million, and Sam insist they do not think their children are losing out by not being at a normal school.
Sam spoke out about the social aspect of ensuring that they see their friends.There are four of them, so they are never together. They also attend sports clubs.
Sam regularly shares glimpses into his home life with 16.6k Instagram followers. While the family does not share the faces of their children, he hides the image from the snippets of homelife.

Sam has spoken out about his turbulent relationship with Petra’s ex and baby daddy James in the past. This has often been rebuffed.
After six years of marriage Petra and James were divorced in October 2017.
While no details of the settlement were released, it was reported that James signed a £16m prenup, with Petra also awarded sole custody of the couple’s three children.
The reveal comes after the couple put their £170m home in the UK up for sale.

Architectural Digest recently produced a clip in which Petra and Sam introduce viewers to their Grade II listed home. It has been transformed into an elegant palace with gold and crystal detail.
As cameras are let into the home for the first time, Bernie Ecclestone’s youngest daughter, who’s family is worth an estimated £2billion, says: ‘This project took me five years to complete and is a home that I absolutely adore.’
Petra, who is fiercely private, made this unusual move. She said that the home will be difficult to sell. She previously spoke out about how she relocated her family from London to Los Angeles because she felt unsafe in her London home.
