After a Somerset woman’s death, police launched an investigation into her murder.
At 2.30 on Sunday, the body of the woman’s corpse was found at South Street in Wells.
According to police, the formal identification of this victim has yet to occur and it is not known what caused her death.
Two men were arrested for murder suspicion and the death has been treated as suspicious.

As a result of a continuing murder investigation, st. South Street remains under police control.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police claimed that officers were present at South Street, Wells after discovering the body of a female.
The ambulance service called the officers to the scene just after 2:30 on Sunday.
“While it is not yet known what caused the death of this woman, investigators have launched a murder investigation.
Although formal identification of the woman is still to be done, her immediate next-of-kin have been informed about it and they are being assisted. We are sending our deepest sympathies to all of them.
“Two suspects were arrested over the night on suspicion for murder. They remain under police custody today, Monday.”
South Street has a police perimeter while investigations continue.

The police stated that detectives were treating the death suspiciously and launched a murder inquiry.
Wells has just 12,000 inhabitants and is popular in Somerset. The city boasts a large cathedral, a historical center and city status.
The city is often used as a base for visitors to the likes of Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves, Kilver Court Gardens and Glastonbury Abbey.
