Police launch investigation after man in wheelchair is filmed charging at public while still holding a knife.

Police are looking for a man seen in West London holding a knife and in a wheelchair.

On October 18, he allegedly opened fire on members of the public as well as schoolchildren, while he was holding the knife at a Hayes bus stop.

The incident was not reported by police at the time, and no injuries were reported. However, MyLondon reports that an investigation was initiated after the footage was circulated via social media.  

The footage was shared on social media on October 18, and comments indicated that it wasn’t the first time the man had used a knife.

People don’t seem initially to notice that he has knives, but then they start screaming when they see him wield them. 

The person filming appears to find the situation amusing. 

People are seen running from the man’s path and one runs into traffic.

He is eventually wheeled away from the scene by another man, after he has charged at two groups, according. MyLondon.

The video was posted on TikTok with 300,000 views. It has since been deleted.  

Police are asking for information on Monday’s events in Hayes.

Roads and Transport Policing Command Detective John Millward said that they are currently trying to establish the exact circumstances of this incident, including where and when it occurred.

“From the videos we have seen on Social Media, it appears that there was a large group of people who witnessed the incident. I would like to hear back from them immediately.”
