Trap Queen rapper Fetty Wap has pleaded guilty to running an illicit drug operation in both New York and his native New Jersey, after cops fittingly busted the hip-hop artist with bricks of cocaine and heroine in a Long Island trap house.
Willie Junior Maxwell II is the real-name of the 31-year old rapper. He will spend at least five years prison for his involvement in the drug trafficking rings. Previous charges against him included Conspiracy to distribute heroin and cocaine.
The much-talked about bust saw feds who arrested Maxwell walk away with several bricks of the substances that contained the drugs, but the synthetic opioid fentanyl – a dangerous substance 50-100 times stronger than morphine – as well as $1.5million in cash.
Federal authorities then accused Maxwell of enhancing his record income by dealing ‘kilo level’ drugs, according to a federal complaint. They proceeded with building a case against Maxwell.
Maxwell was freed on a personal recognizance bail of $500,000 and released. But, Maxwell was arrested once again last week after being accused of threatening to kill someone who might have assisted the feds during a Facetime conversation.
Maxwell was in Federal Court Central Islip on Monday to plead guilty. He could be sentenced to up to nine year imprisonment.
The minimum sentence for those charges, which include not only distributing the copious amount of drugs but also felony-level possession with intent to distribute, would see the star jailed for no less than five years.

During the hearing, which was held in the Long Island suburb near the home where police uncovered the drug ring, Maxwell did not make a request to be released on bond. He is still in police custody.
Previous to Maxwell’s arrest, Robert Leonardi (and Anthony Cyntje) pleaded guilty also to these same charges.
In connection with the October drug arrest in New Jersey, three others were also charged.
The six defendants all face one charge of conspiracy for distribution and possession of controlled substances. Maxwell and the others are facing charges of firearms.
An official date has not been set for sentencing.
Maxwell, who is originally from Patterson, was not there at the Long Island house during the October 28, Long Island bust. Instead, Maxwell was caught at Citifield in Queens while attending a music festival.
The indictment would state that the New Jersey-born artist is a drug kingpin. Prosecutors insist that he was a “kilogram-level distributor” that transported hundreds of kilograms of heroin, cocaine and crack.
Brookyn U.S.A. Attorney Breon peace stated in a statement that defendants drove, sold, and distributed over 100 kilograms (including heroin) of dangerous and addictive drugs to Long Island. This was in addition to four kilos of Fentanyl that were seized from her residence.

According to an FBI agent, this is a violation of both the state law and his conditions of release.
Fetty has faced numerous lawsuits for copyright infringement and defamation.
After being arrested for drunk driving and aggravated unlicensed motor vehicle operation, as well reckless endangerment, the man was caught drag racing in Brooklyn.
