After a ‘tragic incident’, James Gandolfini’s ex fiance Lora Somoza of Sopranos star Lora Somoza was ‘found dead in her mother’s swimming pool.
The sex therapist died last year at the age of 51, the same age at which her famous actor fiancé suffered a fatal heart attack in 2013.
Lora slipped and hit her head at her mother’s Los Angeles home on July 5, 2020, and was found dead in the swimming pool, according to The Sun.

‘She was at her parents’ house and she slipped, hit her head and drowned in the pool,’ her friend Zoe Moon told the publication.
“Her mother found her, it had been terrible.” A terrible accident.’
Lora Gandolfini met Brad Pitt in 2000 as a director’s assistant on The Mexican, a film he made together with Julia Roberts.
They were engaged in 2003, but they broke up two years later when Somoza moved to care for her grandmother, who was suffering from Alzheimers.

Lora split from her husband and became a columnist, sex therapist, and podcast presenter on Between the Sheets with Lora Smoza.
She posted many affectionate photos of her ex-fiancee on her Instagram account, including on his birthday and on the anniversary of his passing.
Gandolfini, who was married former model Deborah Lin in Hawaii in 2008 and their daughter Liliana arrived in October 2012.
Lora said that she had spoken to the married actor just two weeks prior to his death.

Somoza stated that he had congratulated her on the birth of his baby girl and that he sounded great during an emotional interview.
“I’m glad to have his most recent memory on something that sounded really good.”
Gandolfini, who was on vacation in Rome with his son Michael, 14, and Deborah, nine months old, died from a heart attack just before the 59th Taormina film festival in Sicily.
The actor became a household name after his breakout role in 1999 in the hit HBO television show The Sopranos where played the powerful mob boss Tony Soprano whose stressful gangster and family life left him needing to visit a psychiatrist.
