Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and M&S issue an urgent recall on products including Lindt chocolate, chicken and sausage rolls

  • Lindt accidentally sent their strawberry cheesecake bars in the wrong wraps
  • Morrisons sent chocolate-covered, ice cream out with plastics in them
  • M&S had to recall chicken wings and sausage rolls for incorrect packaging

Four large supermarket chains were ordered by the Food Standards Agency to recall a variety of items because they had incorrect date labels.

The recall list of items such as Lindt chocolate, precooked chicken, and sausage rolls has been updated with the reasons.

The recall at Tesco, Asda, Marks & Spencer, Ocado, Waitrose and Morrisons will entitle shoppers to a full refund on their items with or without a receipt.

Some of these items are being recalled because they fail to list allergens such as soya or wheat.

Consumers are asked to review the FSA website listing to determine if they are at-risk.

The list includes the affected products, their pictures, pack size, used by date, and some batch codes.

Here are some examples of the affected items
