The scene was captured by Juliette Brewer, the daughter of the zoo’s owner, on video at The Reptile Zoo.

Coconut, an alligator, is one of only 200 albinos found in the world.

Ms. Brewer stated that she was an albino and has all kinds algae around her. So, I give her a bath and then scrub her.

“And look at her, she just loves this!”

The Reptile Zoo posted the footage on Instagram and it has been liked over 102,000 times. 

Users were quick to express their appreciation.

Lance Turner, an Instagram user, said that ‘for an animal lacking expression she sure does seem happy’.

Ashley Aguirre, another user, commented: “Her smile… so cute!”

If they lack melanin pigment, albino alligators can be born. They will appear white.

Because they are easy to spot, albino alligators are often eaten by predators early in life. This makes them one of the most endangered species of alligators.
